(2)Deep: Ultimate Force (f. Fat Joe w/ Diamond D production circa 1988 – 1990)

Years before a young, focused Fat Joe told us The Shit Is Real and Diamond D was stunting with blunts and Hip-Hop, the two DITC members were locked down in legendary producer Jazzy Jay’z Bronx studio crafting an album that would be deficient of seeing the light of day for nearly 18 years, similar to KMD’s Bl_ck B_st_rds. That album, which eventually saw a release in 2007 thanks to Jazzy Jay, is I’m Not Playing by Ultimate Force, comprised of MC Master Rob and Diamond D who handled production alongside Jay. Between this time frame of the album recording and the official release, the lead single I’m Not Playing was the only piece of audio from the album made available on vinyl. Traffic Entertainment obtained the rights to the album and Jay painstakingly remastered the entire LP and in turn we were open to a time capsule of pre-90s DITC material. Word to Forest Houses projects. Cop here.
