Yeah, I was sayin to myself the Chevy track sound better…but it doesn’t this is definitely better. And this is actually growin on me. I always fucked wit it, but i’m really startin to fuck wit it heavy. I can’t stop listenin to it. Gonna play it in the whip today.
Please, Lex Luger and Cardo on the Beat both make instrumentals that sound very, very similar 9 times out of 10. It’s a matter of preference though.
For me, I’d rather here something chilled out like Cardo than something that’s going to make my head explode like Lex Luger.
And on the topic of Dom Kennedy. I think he’s one of the more overated acts from the WC. I’ll admit, I was late on the bandwagon, I missed Future Street/Drug Sounds, From Orville Wright to Overnight, Best After Bobby, From the Westcoast with Love, and the 25th Hour when they all dropped but I still hear all the albums on my West Coast shuffle list.
To me he sounds dull, boring, and maybe even distracted. He can let loose every once in awhile, but for the most part, the production, lyrics, and flow aren’t strong enough for me to be a real follower.
Seriously though, a top 5 Dom Kennedy songs would be greatly appreciated.
