Bad Meets Evil – Fast Lane (Video)

Em and Royce get a video for their upcoming collaborative EP. Seriously, how did this project – given its prior circumstances – still drop before Detox?

Seriously, how IS this project – given its prior circumstances – still dropping before Detox?

  5. “The lowest point in the album is most definitely “Lighters” which features Bruno Mars, music’s current vehicle of mainstream success. Having worked with such names as B.o.B and Travie McCoy over the past 12 months, the pop sensation’s collaboration within the dark themes of Bad Meets Evil doesn’t quite make sense. More questionably, why does the track find Royce and Eminem rapping over a beat that sounds like it was produced by Owl City? To generate sales? Not only is the song appalling but feels out of place in an album, a matter made even more awkward when Eminem talks about sticking his penis in Nicki Minaj’s anus in “Fast Lane.”

    truest shit ever

  6. i hate how eminem enlists these huge mainstream acts in order to ensure him hits.. be creative bro,go out on a limb and RISK something ffs. bruno mars and rihanna really? bieber is up next i’ll be the first to put money on it

  7. video is DOPE

  8. Yup, Em & Royce……..yessir.

  9. Video is dope. Shit is off the hook. Go on Royce, u a beast bro. Eminem…No comment. Ima cop that EP for sure!!!!

  10. I’ve already stopped listening to this tape. I know, Im a horrible bastard, but its the exact same verses over 9 different beats. Creativity and variety is what keeps me interested in music, and Hell had neither.

  11. HAHA to say there is no creativity involved with this EP is horribly ignorant, and the fact that people go on each BME track to hate on lighters is hilarious. Sorry that they are better than your favorite rappers.

  12. Like the song, but not really feeling the video. Reminds me of Roger Rabbit.

  13. I don’t understand why people talk about Detox like it’s going to be the 2nd coming Jesus. It’s a hip hop album. Dre is playin ya’ll like pawns. And yeah 2001 had some bangers, but was it even really that great?

While the fickle ADD “fams” are busy anticipating overhyped albums like Detox and this incohesive Bad Meets Evil nonsense, and meathead Slaughterhouse shit, Book of David will keep getting spins. Quik is a better producer any damn way.

  14. yes 2001 was that great

  15. bout time, thanks.

  16. Dope Vid,

    SLAUGHTERHOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!

and the rest of you talking about detox, go listen to crooks verse from move on and STFU & GTFO.

  17. this video is fuckin DOPE!! I think Em’s on the path to a true recovery, just gotta fix up that flow, the EP was surprisingly good.

  18. Yea this hella dope. Should be #1 on 106&Park, but its fun to pretend. Video and song better than 95% of the shit thats out now.

  19. @KEATS

My favorite rappers are Jay Electronica and Skyzoo. Just saying.

  20. I cannot get over how great this video game out.

This is going right on the Ipod.

  21. I’m loving this video.

  22. Eminem isn’t half as good as he used to be.

He now uses beats that are could just as easily be hits by Beyonce or Gaga – Production wise they are the same. His hook on “I’m not Afraid” is embarrassing to hear.

With that said, he is the best out, and is one of our generations most unique artists and probably top 5 rappers of all time, he’s just that good. How could he make anything as dope as his first 3 albums? Not gonna happen, it came and went and it was incredible. People hate because he’s not “New” or “Angry” anymore, but he can still out rap.. well, anyone probably. Look at Elvis, or Marvin Gaye, their careers tapered off a bit at the end, but hell, they were still Elvis and Marvin Gaye so everyone else can kiss their ass, their that good.

  23. dope video from royce and em

  24. The best video that I’ve ever seen!!

  25. Wicked video.
Agree – Lighters was horrible. Their verses are well written, but Bruno Mars on a Bad Meets Evil track is just wrong. I’d go out on a limb here and say Akon would have been better. And he’s wack on any track. In a ideal world jr gong would have been the better choice with some tuff gong production. Nice. Then I’d be inspired to put my lighter up and burn one. Rather than wanting to put a roach out on Bruno Mars’ face.

  26. first thing from this EP i actually check out, SHIT BANGS!

  27. wheres the “Everybody down” video though?

  28. WHY DOES ROYCE SOUND EXACTLY LIKE TECH N9NE?

  29. Tacky vid, but it’s sick to actually see these 2 collaborate fully like this

  30. who sings the hook???b4 i seen the video, n just heard the song i thought it was Nate Dogg(r.i.p) any1 know who?tech9?

  31. @SERIOUSLY

He sounds literally nothing at all like Tech N9ne.

  32. Sly ‘Pyper’ Jordan on the hook

  33. OMG i thought the song was cool then i heard the chorus and got hooked cause he sounds just like NATE DAAAAmMMMNNNN i miss that nigga R.I.P to the greatest

  34. YO I WAS HATING BUT THIS IS DOPE. SORRY.

  35. i downloaded the leaked ep and its terrible, step ya game up and stop rapping about nothing with no wordplay

  36. @thebroking……sayin shady always enlist pop stars to ensure him hits….WHODAFUCKK…mann your crazy go throw on some shady LP or marshall mathers LP all that shit was crazy original get off my guys nuts he still in the game rippin it.
    video is ill son

  37. Dope vid, but the album is disappointing..

  38. why are retards commenting on songs like lighters on a fastlane video…

  39. The album is disappointing huh? Yes, Lighters is a good song to me, but I can see how it can be considered out of place. But what about the other 10 songs? Welcome 2 Hell was just bananas, nice beat. The Reunion had a dope concept was just hilarious to me. Above the Law has a great hook with even greater syllables and is definately single worthy, IOE is a bit ehh, but I’m starting to give it a bit of a higher grade. A kiss had some BADASS referencing and nice lyricism, not to mention the flowing at the end. Take From Me is just TOO DEEP and Royce’s part was just damn. Loud Noises, Living Proof, and Echo pretty much speak for themselves. Overall, the EP is about a 4.7 (by the rating my computer gives me). (Haha, why the fuck did I just review this?)

Anyways, I don’t know about y’all but I let a few of my friends listen to this and they were just in awe. I’m not saying that you should like Eminem or you shouldn’t like Royce or the EP. You should still, however, give credit where credit is due.

  40. Is dude with the headphones Nate Doggs replacement or sumn?

  41. Cosign @Pauly Dee
The EP is definitely on point.

  42. why are these 40 year old rappers acting like 12 year old pre-pubescent fags in the video? gay ass shit man

  43. video is dope. loved the slaughterhouse love. about to blow.

  44. johnny polygon

  45. Too many fags here on dope, nuff said

  46. Wow Royce completely stole Tech 9′s flow and cadence, if people don’t hear that, then they are deaf, which would explain why they like this crap.

  47. Wow Royce completely stole Tech 9′s flow and cadence. If people don’t hear that, then they are deaf, which would explain why they like this crap.

  48. This sucks. How are people actually feeling this project ? I really wanted this to work out, but it’s too corny. Even Royce seems weak, rapping about unicorns and whatever. the fuck. And eminem just sucks period, he needs to check that stupid voice he does at the door.

  49. Must be doing something right judging by the amount of discussion here!!
