While the name might not jump out at you right away, there’s a pretty good chance you’ve heard them here at the dopehouse. Be it teaming up with Big K.R.I.T. for The Wuz Here Sessions or backing both K.R.I.T. and Freddie Gibbs at various events and studio sesssions, the band (consisting of Ben Schwier [Keys], Derek Taylor [Drums], Josh Lippi [Bass] and Nate Mercereau [Guitar]) has some definite hip hop roots. The above song/video will be found on their debut album, The Process, dropping June 28th. Big shouts to J. Kim on the heads up.
