Yeah, I said “2K12″ on purpose. We need that NFL series back, Sega. Anyways, here is the end result of Peyton Hillis’ selection to be the next recipient of the Madden Curse. Marshall Faulk also makes a return to the cover also, in this year’s incarnation of the Hall Of Fame Edition (which you can see down bottom). Oh, and what’s up with that NFL season guys?

    Never gunna happen, atleast not until atleast 2020, madden locked up the NFL license along with the ESPN license in late 2004. So no other game will be able to use team names, team players, stadiums, etc., etc. Thats why u see games like BLITZ use fake team names when back 90′s when it first came out they were using real players and teams.

    Besides, SEGA sold 2K, the developers behind the games, to take two. So even if it was possible for the game to be released, it wouldnt be on SEGA.

  11. droppin knawledge took the EXACT words out of my mouth about the NFL license. I wish that EA didn’t have it anymore because Madden has become WNBA Live/Elite Status.

  12. Thankyou!!!! ESPN NFL 2k5 was wayyyyyy better than anything Madden has put out and its sad. Just think about it, the way that NBA 2k is killing Live/Elite would be the way NFL 2k would’ve killed Madden. *sigh* A man can dream
