  14. @LAsupreme Shut the fuck up clown , ive given Nas so much props on this site its obvious I think hes dope. Dont read something I wrote in one section which wasnt even dissing Nas in the first place and disregard how many times ive said Illmatic is my favorite album or that Nas is a legend. Ive said 100 positive things about Nas on 2dbz so get your facts straight bitch. And yeah this song is gonna be epic.

  15. WOW so this drops out of the blue AND the album is supposed to be released in 1 month?

  17. I know what I’ll be buying on June 23rd! I’m not gonna listen to any leaks.

this shit is dope. no one should thumb this down.

  18. Is common indie now ? Only way the album is released so soon. If so GOOD MUSIC <<<<<

  19. The full song drops the 23rd, not the album

  20. @yeayea I was about to say, if the album was coming out June 23rd you know Common would be getting his wig pushed back, flo-rida style

  21. Fuck! June 23rd? That’s some hoe ass shit.

  22. Hell FUCKING Yeah! This just made my day.

  23. Some will remember May 21st as the day of the failed Rapture.

I will remember May 21st as the day I heard a low quality 30 sec snippet of this common and nas collabo.

  24. I was JUST takin to my brother today about how Nas and Comm needed to link up and do Music together and out of no where this shit pops up LOL. Ive Been watin for this to happen for a LOOOOONG Time July 23er cant come fast enough. Next on my wish list of Dream Calabos Nas & BlackThought.

  25. Return of the fuckin REAL!!!! the hip hop rapture is here and common is the chosen one lbs

  26. this snippet is so fxckin gud. i jus listend to it 72times. hip hop jus got a second chance in 2011.

  27. Goddamn! I ain’t even a fan of Common but this shit sound nice as fuck

  28. @LAsupreme Last year I even made an imaginary tracklist for ILLmatic 2 so im a Nas fan.

    4. The last dragons ft Rae and Ghost prod. by Rza

    10. It was written again prod. by Kanye West
    11. Pass the Torch ft. Lupe fiasco prod. by 9th wonder

So to even make up something like that based on Nas old albums I would have to be a huge fan of Nas. I made this up because I wanted Nas to make another sequel to my favorite album so I wrote some ideas. I rest my case

  29. No I.D. not fuckin around with this beat. On some serious shit

  30. Lol Ight no doubt, I may have judged the fat joe comment too soon. Nas& Lupe wuld be some classic shit. Too bad Lost Tapes 2 not droppin’

  31. Its all good. I hope Common speaks on the whole beef with him being at the white house on his album but this song sounds like classic hip hop.

  32. If the world ends in 40 mins and I don’t hear this track in full, I am seriously going to kick god’s a$$. Not Funny.

  33. you already snow Obama go dis album

  34. 9. Why did I get married ft. Mary J Blige prod. Diddy

    *obliterates*

  35. ^^^ I feel you , I just thought that it was funny. Only thing else I mite change is finding a way to put Just Blaze somewhere in the mix?

  36. sounds more like a Premier beat than NO I.D… Sounds great nevertheless

  37. I don’t know what I like more, the snippet or the throwback picture of Nas and Common.

  38. OMFG GOODD IF THIS SHIT HIT THE RADIO UNDEGROUND HAS WON!!!

  39. omg excited nas and common are my favorite rappers of all time cant wait for this full track

  40. Cotdamn! *almost fell out my chair* Wow!

  41. I live for shit like this.

  42. Does this mean the rumors are true….. Nas part of GOOD music now….. .

  43. miss peas u suck (dick). it says the full track debuts june 23.

  44. thank you hip hop gods… this is my hip hop wet dream …

  45. http://www.amazon.com/Ghetto-Dreams-Explicit-feat-Nas/dp/B004WM0I7C/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=dmusic&qid=1306019683&sr=8-3

    one song. not album.

  46. i just creamed my pants

  47. THIS SHIT BETTER NOT GET PUSHED BACK OR I’M GONNA HAVE TO KNOCK A FEW CORPORATE SKULLS IN.

  48. Ayo Marty Mcfly….

Im diggin the song list..BUT waaaaaaay too many features bruh. And I would hope Nas would be more creative than naming his album Illmatic 2. Lol.

But yo I dig the idea. I actually did one of those in my head a while ago.

  49. 2 dope mc’s. should b great

    nice tracklist marty

  50. This is dope common going back to his roots that 90′s sounding shit is what he’s best at. Can’t wait till the full song comes out.

  51. Am i dead? Did the rapture come and go? Am I in heaven???

  52. im not tryng to hate cuz ive paid to see com and nas. but i dont dont think com killed it. and the beat sounds dated. and marty mcfly is way to dedicated. and com went to the white house. wtF. and like yall said bigsean(wack) got OK beats from no i.d. this is just OK to me. is no i.d. losing his touch? or is this beat old? com sounded like he wrote his in the lab, in front of nas. (safe rhymes). and wouldnt rewrite. and nas kills. nice tracklist. drop the features. az and jay elect only.

  53. @peace dude its a snippet, u didnt hear all of the verses or even a full verse, just a few bars. Plus so what if the beat is dated?? its no secret that rappers sometimes use beats that a 1 year old, 2 yrs old or even 3 yrs old for their upcoming albums, not every beat that rappers use is entirely new. Wait til the full song comes out before u judge bro.

  54. still waiting on “the dreamer” song

  55. @what if i can tell its dated thats not a good thing.

  56. What the fuck does “dated” mean fool? You the ONLY ONE saying that, so I’m guessing you CAN’T TELL SHIT. RAW IS RAW GET OVER IT AND MOVE ON. What, you need that synthy shit for women STILL?

  57. common will always be my favorite rapper…God this sounds like heaven.

  58. @peace No offense but i doubt that your enough of an expert on rap beats to REALLY know if its dated or not. The beat might sound like an unreleased No I.D. instrumental from the 90s (and it might be for all we know) BUT a 90s sounding raw rap beat maybe have been the idea and sound that No I.D. wanted for this particular song. Hip Hop producers does that sometimes. Nothing wrong with that, right?? Im surely not complaining about a rap beat that mirrors the golden era of rap (rather than a crappy new-age sounding beat that u often hear today).

  59. holy shit i’m looking forward to hearing the full version of this.

  60. according to illseed they have recorded an album together but they just need a label. for those who don’t know illseed from allhiphop said a month in advance that jay elec was gonna sign with rocnation.

  61. The definition of lyricism over a dope beat. Can’t wait for this, haven’t been this hyped since Black Republican.
Great tracklisting @ marty. Couldn’t have made up a better one by myself. Nas and Lupe is a dream for any real hip hop fan.

  62. doesnt sound like a golden era beat….sounds like a 2002. my least favorite era in hip hop. yall are so quik to hype a snip cuz nas isnt in it. theres a real issue with dated prod getting released as new.

  63. 19 people hate life. i’m certain becuz this shit is going to be nuts

  64. 12. King of Queens prod. by Nottz
    13. Fuck 50 cent prod. by Havoc
    14. Belly > Scarface prod. by kanye west
    15. The messenger prod. by Premo

Add those songs and it would be a dope balance between solo tracks and tracks with features. All dont understand how crazy track 2 would be with Jayz . Just saying

  65. Yall dont understand…

  66. Mite have to switch producers on 12 and 13 cause of politics , I know.

  67. @peace again, how the fuck do u really know if its dated?? what does that mean?? how is it possible for u to determine what year it came from? are you a professional beat maker or something??

  68. @peace i said it mirrors the golden era, didnt say it came from the golden era. Also, 2002?? how would know that?? seriously!

  69. @what, the early 2000s had a distinct sound. just like the early 90s. this beat sounds like dilated peoples/J5. if you compared khalils beats on self scientifics first album to trials of the blackhearted, youll hear a distinct difference. and thats what im hearing now from no i.d…and everyone knows comm has been sitting on this album for a long time. not to mention how long it takes nas to do features. just with that info alone i could bet good money on this being old. maybe one his ghost producers made this beat and thats whose hating on me here. but new i.d. sounds less maschine-ish and more like instruments. which i love…so when i see a “new” id track and get juiced…i want something that will raise the bar on the entire industry.

  70. Holy fuck. This song sounds incredible. Like someone said above me; these three guys need to do an album together.

  71. WE REALLY GOTTA WAIT UNTIL JUNE 23RD – BITCHASSNESS.

  72. steve wyreman from The Park on the guitar / bass sample replay woooo!

  73. @peace You are sooo wrong. I like the way you came with the hip hop concrete details to back up your hypothesis though. Lol @ you! This beat is new, the verses are new and No ID is the shit! PERIOD. Its amazing how you can derive so much from a 30 sec snippet, that’s some serious talent. Just Be Cool :-)
