“Scholars and scientists now conceive that Africa is the birthplace of mankind. Africans were the first builders of civilization; they discovered mathematics, invented writing, developed sciences, engineering, medicine, religion, fine art and built the Great Pyramids, an architectural achievement which still baffles modern minds.”
Acknowledge the truth. Beautiful song. Period. If I may be honest here though, I’d rather have heard NaS on this. *shrug Off Stephen’s Revelation Part 1: Roots of Life in stores next Monday.

THANK YOU WALE! This is the kind of song your REAL fans what to see you on. I hope you leave that fake wack nxgaa Ross alone. But I understand why you had to sign with him. It’s a shame that you had to make a move like that just to stay relevant in the eyes of these fickle as fans.
Once you get your fame and money right, I hope you get back to what you do best, and continue to grow from your last album, pick up from where you left off at like you never left.

Has on this over wale? Please. He tried to make some monumental Africa shit once and failed. (See distant relatives)
nas**^
nice song. But this is far from Wale’s best verse..let’s keep it real.
@Rio$ Actually, there is solid and duplicated evidence that the human race evolved in Africa, and that the earliest Homo sapiens originated in Africa and then migrated to populate the rest of the world, replacing the other, older species of humans that existed there previously. This migration dates to about 150,000 years ago. Modern DNA evidence shows that African natives share a certain portion of genetic similarity with all native populations worldwide, and the degree of relatedness reduces reliably as the distance from Africa increases. Read up.
Also, props to Wale, hope the man keeps making music like this.
Amazing song. The first person speaking is the late, great Cosmologist Carl Sagan.
moot arguments. got to love’em

@TrueHopTunes His True Fans huh? While I do prefer this Wale..I can’t knock the “No hands” because that Wale first got my attention in 2005/06 on his first mixtape “Paint a Picture”…look up songs like Dig Dug, One thing, and Riding in That Black Joint..those were all before Mixtape About Nothin and 100 Miles and Runnin..Im a Day 1/True fan and I like that Wale can’t do a song like this then hop on a track with Ross, Waka, etc…
**Can
easily would rather have heard wale on here then nas..no questions asked
