Sean links up with his IWWMG partners for this track off Phantom of the Jamla, which drops May 17th. Meanwhile The Away Team’s Scars and Stripes hits stores later this year via Duck Down Records/Jamla.

this doe but… anyone else think amps a straight bite of premo, i mean his good but no originality at all
I think Amp , khrysis and the whole rest of the Soul Council make some of the dopest beats in the last two years. They are all influenced by Premo but they upgraded the sound.
This might be one of my favorite AMP joints, like top 3.
I didn’t think this would be better than Light Beers but now, unless it’s only like 10 songs, I’m pretty sure I’m gonna like it more. The joints from the last 2 days are really my lane.
@1 AMP is a doper version of Preem right now. Even Preem isn’t making shit like this. I mean obviously AMP’s style is chops and scratched hooks but I can’t think of any Preem beats over the last year I’ve enjoyed as much as Fuckin wit Who, Gettin Mine, Takers, Loyalty, Moves Over Here, Bullshit, Breathe, Whole Crew, Win, and Amped Up just to name a few…
AND I really enjoyed Preem’s Year Round Records compilation joint!
@White Mike
Some tracks off of Reks album and that song with the femcee that came out just a week or two ago was dope but AMP is nice–contemporary Preemo.
@red Reks album was dope as fuck. Preem only had one joint on there. I love Preem and he’s dope as ever, but AMP and the rest of the Soul Council are smashing the game right now in terms of output. In the past 24 hours, 9th Wonder, AMP, Eric G, and Khrysis have all had joints come out. Sean Boog and Sundown have been on two joints, and Skyzoo and and Halo have been on joints. Skyzoo even dropped a video yesterday.
We get Boog 5/17 and Skyzoo 6/7 and then I’m sure by the time June comes 2-3 more IWW release dates will be set up. This is all right on the heels of a 22 track FREE album by Big Remo. No one else is releasing this much quality music as a crew than anyone else out there right now, period.
I love it because sometimes people make dope music and are afraid to release it because they don’t know if they can make more. IWW is obviously confident in their ability to continue to pour out high quality music at a high volume. There’s no such thing as over-saturation if it’s good music.
But yea this is a nice, dark track!
And Heather Victoria just dropped Graffiti Diary. Forgot about that one.
Soul Council killing the game right now.IWWMG will be doing an east coast tour this summer
