Wow. I usually flame on people for geeking out about a track before hear it — color me a hypocrite.
#Section.80 is going to be so fucking ill, Hiii Power was megadope and now this? I’m actually starting to get my hopes up for a dope ass Dre beat on this.
ill (J. Cole voice) he on that shit. fire!
Wow, I cannot wait for section80, his flow is too nice. The most anticipated project this year for me, no new comer can touch Kendrick. Mad dope!
ughhhhhhhhhhh
Towards the beginning of the summer, Cole and Kendrick need to each start a serious promo push. Lots of music dropped, major features (Watch the Throne?), big city shows or big network performances, etc. After a few months, hopefully when both names are relatively prominent and with fall rolling in, they drop the joint mixtape. With any luck, this should add a serious bump to each of them, rolling smoothly into a 4th quarter Cole album or Interscope project (not gonna say Detox).
Also, between J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar, my HUGE hope for these 2 is that they bridge the divide bewteen the Jay and Dre camps. I need Eminem/Slaughterhouse/Kendrick on some Ye beats, and I need pretty much everybody from RocNation and GOOD to jump on some Dre production; plus I mean we just cant have the 2 premier camps in hiphop at this point where they basically just ignore each other for the better part of a decade.
aw fuckin man..
Aw, shit! That would be so dope it J. Cole and Lamar bridged the gaps between RocNation and Aftermath. Damn! Never thought about that. Plus, add Kanye West G.O.O.D. such potential for the future if they keep their egos aside and focus on the music.
hands down my most anticipated album this yr. and ya i kno wut else is supposed to b comin out, but this is way too fuckin ill. He already dropped the best record so far this year wit hiiipower (i dare u to find a better record that dropped)
Ok, now im even more convinced that this album is gonna be big fucking problem!!!
awww shit he got rza on this, album gonna be sooo goood
is this a RZA beat or just a RZA feature??? cos it doesnt sound like any of the recent beats i heard by RZA i thought it was on that acoustic guitar shit a-la “Heartbreaker” by game
Kendrick and RZA on the same track , thats interesting.
holy shit. calling it now, Section.80 is about to be the album of the year, at least as far as hip-hop goes.
me and my blog love me some kendrick
Ronald Reagan you better chill with that you’ve got me way too pumped.
My expectations for this album are so high. Everything that Kendrick has ever released or been featured on is gold. Even his early stuff was sick.
FIENDIN FOR THIS.. consider it copped..
last year, i thought that j. cole was the holy savior of rap.. until i heard kendrick. hes just too good, the 3 idiots who gave this a thumbs down dont know a damn thing about rap music, kendrick is the truth, poised to be one of the greats
It sounds like Tae Beast produced it. Damn. I was hoping RZA wouldve produced the track haha.
Either way the track is dope. Section.80 might be the album of the year. Unless Cole drops his project in the summer.
I thought cole handled all the production for section.80 or is that separate project?
@ jwiii naw datz anotha project
sound dope
Lookin forward to this. And Kendrick should distance himself from J.Cole. J.Cole has zero appeal compared to KL.
Can’t wait for the mastered track.
That’s stupid Brewster. How would cole hurt Kendrick?
Too damn dope….Kendrick is my ni66a and all other rappers better step back when Section.80 drops
i just went from six to midnight
Damn that shit gonna be Fire
hiphop still alive.
like a deeeeeeeeep breathe of fresh air!
is it ok to start dreamin for a k dot and nas track? lol
co sign ^
Yaw niggas always wanna throw j cole name when kdot is mentioned.who cares they worked together.jcole time has passed he’s watering down.its funny how kdot came out after jcole and he’s about to become a star before him and he’s not even on a major or fucking with megastars like jay-z.I mean no real hate to jermaine but with all that backin he should of had at least to top singles by now and have a album date already.wiz came after his who dat single and in the morning.and still had top singles and a number 2 album.shows what jcole really matters?which is nuffin
Yea fuck j.cole tho. Kendrick is going drop a classic.while he watches
I told em.
“wiz came after his who dat single and in the morning.and still had top singles and a number 2 album” -@you suck jcole im sorry
Wiz Khalifa has been rapping since 2005. He rose to the level of relevance that you apparently consider acceptable in late 2010, and dropped Rolling Papers in 2011. Following Wiz’s timeline, J. Cole has like 3 more years before he should drop his album.
btw- Dr. Dre fucks with Kendrick Lamar, and Im pretty sure hes a universally accepted megastar.
The comments right here show the level of ignorance some hip-hop fans have. Kendrick Lamar’s success has nothing to do with J. Cole, yet y’all find some way to intertwine the two like one can’t exist if the other one is shining. Stop being females, jam out and enjoy the music you ignoramuses.
THE RZAAAAAA
Section 80. Thats it.
And the Album cover is going to be made by my co-worker Angelo Logan, I’m excited for this project, and we also get to hear it first before any of you fuckboys, lmao.
Kendrick and Em on a track? anybody?
Anyone knw who that is in the booth???
That’s ash riser hes also on kendricks ep on a song called “determined” and o.d on a track called “barbed wire”. And for the other dude that wanted to know if rza produced this no he didn’t this is a taebeats track.
