  1. Been a fan of High Water Music from day one to me they are the east coast Stones Throw. Willie Evans Jr is the best thing to happen to Florida since bathing suits.

    As far as this video goes… How the HELL is he chopping the video with the MPC? WOW! The chops themselves aren’t too complicated but I am guessing there are some limitations as far as video chopping goes. Regardless of what this is DOPE, Willie Evans Jr. has a new fan. Can’t wait to hear more.

  6. Over the course of time, people started discouraging creativity and originality and only appreciating things that were made in molds. Willie Ev is thinking outside the box, thinking outside that mold that is pervasively dominating and weakening this genre. In the revolution, I would appoint Willie Ev to be the advocate for creative inspiration and change.

  9. Ha, it’s like the people in the underground want so bad to be separated from the “mainstream” use of synthesizers and such that anything that uses an mpc is seen as dope to them now. It’s kind of ridiculous. How is this thinking outside the box? What happened to producers that could actually play instruments/work with those that do….or at LEAST producers who were creative with their sampling (Tribe or El-P anybody?).It’s whatever, though I guess.
