  7. I definitely see what he’s trying to do here. That style of hook is definitely what’s popping on the radio right now, but I’m wondering why he opted to get Akon for it? I don’t know, I just feel he could have obtained someone more relevant at the moment. Overall, it’s a good sounding snippet though. I’m glad his sophomore album is coming out. The mixtape was good, and the EP with Nottz was great, but I also want to see Asher still get that mainstream shine he deserves as well. He plays both sides of the spectrum well. Mac Miller is sort of in his lane right now, but both artists are dope (I think Mac Miller is iller flow wise, and Asher is iller lyrically), but they can both coexist. I’d like to see Asher come out with a smash single from this album though.

  8. asher def deserves the shine that an artist gets without being a gimmick, its just that i love college kinda fucked him up for that. but hes def been on his grind to be respected and he is personally one of my fav artists

    snippet sounds dope but the album isnt going to be called the spagetti tree anymore btw

  11. Sounds dope… I like Asher, but I think he might be a resident of ‘One Hit Wonderland’… There’s been way too much time in between his first and second album compared to his peers… We’ll have to wait and see if he can get his buzz back
