The Sick Team is a rap crew out of Japan whose members, S.l.a.c.k. and ISSUGI, were recently on Ski Beatz’ Japanese version of 24 Hour Karate School. Their self-titled album drops June 2nd, and has some well-known stateside artists making appearances, including Roc Marciano, Dilated Peoples’ Evidence and Illa J. Check out this sinister cut featuring my current favorite street lyricist. I have no idea what they’re saying, but it sounds incredible regardless.
Yes, 2dopeboyz should take a look outside of the U.S. There’s a lot of dope stuff from Japan, Germany, France etc. But the problem is you don’t know it because they don’t rap in english.
