A film by Kenneth Price

LRG and director Kenneth Price took 365 days in the life of 9thMatic and condensed it into a 78-minute film that’s set to drop soon. *dead* at that dance at about the :17 mark.

  1. this looks dope
    that dance is hillarious

  2. Whatever happened with that beat he made for Nas? Guess Nas wasn’t feelin’ it, huh…

  3. I know I’ll get hate over the internet by saying 9th’s my favorite to ever do it, but it is what it is. Respects to Premo, Rock, & Kno, but 9th’s been my favorite.

  4. It’s not about the top equipment you use, it’s how you use it. You can have top notch equipment like some do, or you can download it off of the internet & make magic. Look forward to the movie.

  5. this looks crazy dope, lookin forward to it. Now i got a itch to listen to the listening, chitlin circuit and minstrel show bak to bak

  6. 9th has always been one of my favorite people in the music industry period so I know this is gonna be sick. Can’t wait for this to drop man!

  7. yo totally off topicc.. anyone got a link for the blu project that got released yesterday. Im not buyin an album i already have…. but ill download it again for some better quality haha

  8. @MAGA D,

You shouldn’t get hate. Alchemist is my favorite producer. Doesn’t mean I don’t think Pete, Preem, Dilla, and RZA are the best 4 to ever do beats. You’re allowed to have your favorites. I think 9th is the best producer to come along over the last 10 years.

  9. looks good.
n was up with the c section being broke all the time

  10. @BillyClint…. im not bein broke i was at best buy the other day and picked up the deluxe edition of the jaylib cd and both pilot talk albums… and i bought ab souls cd when it came out, and even bought krits return of 4eva just to get the autographed hard copy Im down with supporting artists, but its been acknowledged multiple times that blu shows most his fans no love in real life occasions. and i already have every one of these songs in my itunes, so why should i buy that shit?

  11. Madddddd dope. this is hella inspiring. well done.

  18. scratch that just all the beats in the video?

  19. 9thWonder =the Dilla of this generation

  20. hell yeah!

  21. 9th Wonder’s a super dope producer. He’s like the prince to Pete Rock and Preemo’s kings.

  22. @Mago D, me too, I mean its mostly because he makes dope beats, but also because of his possitive outlook on life, and hes humble as fuck.

  23. does anyone know what that first beat is, sounds hella familiar i just cant put my finger on it

  24. the first bea(s)t is the song “Lovin’ It” by Little Brother. You may also have heard it on Wayne’s Dedication 2 in the track “This Is What I Call Her”
