I feel you. I read somewhere that she’s the highest selling female of 2000-2010, so success is definitely there. But really though, on terms of talent, I think B relies too much on “screaming” or “shouting” her lyrics, I know that’s her style, but it doesn’t work for me. Vocally for right now, I’d take Alicia or Aguilera (who also “screams” but her voice is just>>) or As far as favorites go, Janelle Monáe & Andy Allo, both of which don’t have the voice Beyonce has. All time though? I’ll take Aretha & Patti LaBelle.

Beyonce has vocal and artistic range thats pretty incredible people and not only that but she has wrote most of her songs for her solo albums and Destiny Child albums. She has a level of consistency that has beat out the others in R&B cause she hasnt even come close to falling off as a solo artist. If we sit here and name all her hit songs , we’ll be here for a minute and there wont be long periods of time between them and like I said , a number of them she wrote her self. The only thing another singer can beat her in is having a longer career then her but shes only 29 and doesnt look like shes about to stop.
What I mean by artistic range is when you see a singer drop a song like Halo then Upgrade then Diva. Those are three different kind of songs , I mean Diva is a rap song for heavens sake. The other artist are great but Beyonce is more well rounded and lets be honest , sex appeal is a factor and Beyonce clearly has won in that department.
