The New Rap Language Panel @ The University Of Maryland College Park

The New Rap Language panel will include discussion and commentary surrounding the importance of hip hop blogs in urban music media, including an in-depth discussion answering the question: Are hip hop blogs/websites having a larger impact on the urban music industry than labels for today’s artists? This panel will be moderated by Beats & Ballads Editor-in-Chief, Tia Danae. The event is free and open to the public. So if you’re in the area or thinking about being the area, come check us out.

I rarely leave my crib unless it’s to run errands, DJ an event, see my niece or the more-frequent-than-occasional alcohol run, and those times I’m usually just keeping to myself the entire time. Having to actually be put on the spot is a rarity, so I honestly have no idea what I’m going to say at this event or what exactly is going to happen. April 16th should prove interesting. Hope to see you all there.

  1. i bet you will come up with something to hate on.

  2. This is tight, I wish I could be there to voice my opinion. Public speaking can be a bitch but hey we have our good ol’ first amendment, freedom of speech, and a voice so why not use them constructively or for a cause at least.

@Meka just have something prepared and be sure to recite and I’m sure you’ll be fine. Your lil’ captions like the one above are always well worded too.

I also keep to myself majority of the time I’m out and about but also can’t stress how important it is to speak up on relevant topics. Such as Hip Hop!

  3. dont come to my school faggots. get the fuck.

  4. i go to UMD i’ll be there
