This “Three Sheets to the Wind” demo is the first in a long series of demos I hope to release from my LI(F)E album (available now). Anyone who knows the album version will notice that this demo version is much slower than they’re used to. Also the music is less aggressive. While most of the demos have more of a hip hop feel, this one is still on the indie-rock tip. The music is by Chris Walla from Death Cab for Cutie and the demo was recorded in 2008 in Sage Francis’ home studio. – Sage Francis

How is it especially when I added that you may be a subgenre fiend and not for everything. A lot of people don’t like everything I sir wouldn’t call them a Hip Hop Head but more subjective to certain genres. How many Hip Hop Head actually listen to everything that will/can be slapped with the label hip hop, not many they discriminate against it and say it’s garbage when others have different opinions.

I mean I was brought up on Golden Era music, Tribe, Beasties, PE, De La, and later Wu and everything else lovely. I just don’t don’t care for Sage’s music. Doesn’t sound good. I listen to almost exclusively hip hop music. It’s what I love. I just don’t appreciate Sage like you do. This is a strange argument we’re having.

Sage Francis is the biggest prententious faggot in hip-hop bar none. This lame sits there bitching about the state of hip-hop. Dude’s a suburban clown who stays on the outside looking in but who feels his opinion really matters. Which it doesn’t. His fans also share his arrogant, non-sensical opinions. His music is garbage.

He is quite simply an awful representation of “underground” hip-hop and is proof that bad music exists at every level.
