#1: it’s not really good music. Everyone will forget about him and his music in 5 years. Good music lasts forever.
#2 its not JUST music. Music is a way of life. So it does effect you if you listen to Ross because it is influencing you. And if you’re influenced by some fake phony, what does that make you… FAKE!
So when people like you realize that music is not just entertainment and learn how to separate the two, Hip Hop AND people will be a lot more authentic.

And on your second point I’ve been a devoted fan of this art form for over 33 years (showing my age)I appreciate the poetry, flow and rhyme structure of a song, the story being told.
