  31. The promotion for Attention Deficit was geared to a commercial audience so thats why people like me didnt buy the album. I listen to Wales Back to the Features mixtape and thought his music would cater to that sound but then I heard the singles for the album and it sounded like he wasnt talking to the fans like me anymore so I didnt get the album. Even though I like the Pretty Girls song , him putting a verse from Gucci Mane on it made me look at Wale different. Thats why I think hes still getting backlash today , cause he keeps standing next to artists with different motives then the Wale people remember. But hey I know he gotta get his money.

I agree that Pretty Girls wasn’t a good song, but I often forget that song was even on the album. There was a lot of quality material on that album. In my opinion the best work he’s ever done was on his “Mixtape About Nothing”, but his album had a lot of good music on it, regardless of the single.
    That being said, Wale looks really out of place on this cover. Just looking at it makes me laugh.

  60. I hated Ricky from when he first dropped til Right around Last Year (What was that Teflon Don?). I’m still not a fan of his Lyrically (although every now and then He will surprise me with a bar thats not TOTALLY I got/ I make/ I drive/ I spend/ Etc) but U cant knock the hustle. U really cant. and he commands attention. Im sorry but to be so Syntactually Inept and yet still have the Career Ross has speaks volumes about his Hustle and Business sense. Now on to the Rest.

    Pill I been ridin with since I first heard “Trap Goin Ham” and he’s easily my favorite rapper out of this group. Porbably the only reason I download this project. The kid has Bars and Honesty and Passion (Well the last 2 he seems to be slacking on in Later years) but if he can get back to “Somebody Let me In” P.I. Double L then I think MMG has a sleeper Star on they Hands.

    Meek Mill I JUST started listening to Last week. He doesn’t stand out in the sea of Punchline heavy Trap Rappers of today but he does stand toe to toe lyrically with Pill (maybe even above) so he’s not sorry in any sense.

    Wale…. I have no idea what yall do/have/will ever see in this guy but to each they own. I like the Breakup Song though and thats only because he wasnt afraid to sound like a simp to get the point of the song across (which I admire cause hell Hood cats have Simp a** in love moments too).
