DJ Quik & The Los Angeles Leakers – The Audio Biography Of David (Mixtape)

If you’re from the West, you’ve heard a good half of these vintage tracks from DJ Quik on 92.3 The Beat, Power 106 before it turned into a guido-fest and KDAY shortly before the Steve Harvey mess. For those that aren’t, the LA Leakers compiled some of David’s greatest moments into one abridged compilation. The fact my favorite song of Quik’s – “Safe + Sound” – is here is more than enough for me. Tracklist and link down bottom.

  8. Whoever “dislikes” this doesn’t know shit about real producing and Rap with a funky twist. E-Sermon & DJ Quik are the only ones still keeping rap funky and especially Quik makes sure some shit is played live when a track is being produced. SMH @ the haters…….
