As I’m sitting here putting this L in the air and listening to the news (NHK), it got me thinking: as large a role Japan plays in Hip-Hop culture, where is the Hip-Hop community’s support for the travesties that have unfolded out there? This may come off as a little biased as I myself am Japanese and have family out there I’ve yet to get in touch with, but let’s be real, Japan, along with Europe, has played an enormous role in keeping the culture both thriving, yet underground. All these rappers, producers, etc. who say they got love for Japan, where y’all at? Not attempting a debate or controversy here, just stating my opinion. Anyway, down bottom is the alternate version of the video / song (better known as Pre-Cash or 5 Deadly Venoms), and I’m pretty torn between the two versions. Eh.

It’s been months since I’ve actually read anything in the c-section and it’s truly sad how ignorant and dumb it has gotten on here. Shake and Meka need to basically disable this feature.

Anyway, I have heard of a few artists doing things for Japan, as far as raising money and such. There really is no way to tell what someone is or is not doing. I don’t believe artists have to make whatever charitable contributions they’re doing public all the time.
