Pilot Talk or Pilot Talk 2?

Earlier today I had misplaced my iPod (which I usually play in my car) and was forced to call an audible and search around for some music. After a quick assessment of my middle counsel and glove box I found that I had only two CDs. Leaving me with the inevitable dilemma: which shall I play? I eventually went with the original Pilot Talk, despite PT2 housing my favorite song from them both (Silence w/ McKenzie Eddy). Dopeboyz/girlz, which route would y’all have taken? Hit the c-section and let us know which (and why).

  1. 1st Pilot talk 1.. King Kong and got shit on me

  2. pilot talk 2 still in rotation

  3. Pilot Talk 2.

  4. The radio, real talk. What’s better than some Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Justin Bieber and Black Eyes Peas? Motivation for the day.

  5. example is my favorite track. despite only 1 verse, it’s the fucking illest beat. wish he did more with it! therefore: PT1

  6. I would have burn all my favorites on 1 and that would of been clappin, but honestly the first pilot talk

  7. i usually go with pilot talk. pt 2 was good but the first is my favorite.

  8. i let pilot talk 1 play straight thru into pilot talk 2 not skippin any songs cuz theyre all fire especially the day w mos def and jay elec ridic track

  9. Pilot Talk 2

  10. I’d say PT 1.. King Kong, Breakfast, Audio Dope II, str8 fire

  11. sometimes, the sound of silence exceeds the talents of a middleweight emcee.

  12. Pilot Talk 1. There’s too many good tracks in PT1 and on PT2 it only has a few really good bangers.

  13. Pilot Talk 2 all the way. The first one seems more like a mixtape.

  14. You would like the only sappy joint on the two albums – worst song on either disc.

  15. can i say both?

  16. Pilot Talk 1—-Skybourne and the original Breakfast, Prioritize…Need I Say More?

  17. i would say pilot talk 2. if u want more features and brass beats pilot talk 1 would b the way to go tho…

  18. First one, but i gotta agree with the Silence comment. minus mckenzie eddy.

  19. There both dope but Skybourne was my favorite track if I remember correctly, Pilot Talk wins.

  20. OG Pilot Talk but co-sign that McKenzie Eddy

  21. Pilot Talk 2 is a great album for me. Curren$y stays true to himself and what he establishes on the first one while still letting his sound grow. Example, Silence is such a great record, and there’s nothing that sounds like it on the first PT, musically at least. Highed Up is one of those instant favorites that you wish were longer but love it still anyways, like Mos Def’s Priority. Michael Knight is an all-time favorite, and Airborne Aquarium is just vicious.

That said, so much of PT1 has incredible replay value for me that it’s really hard to compete with, by a lot of artists, even Curren$y himself. The Day… first Center Edge record? Ridiculous. Breakfast? “The potency of the beat is consistent with the fact that Mos did it…” truer words couldn’t have been spoken. Chilled Coughee? I was just waiting for him to link up with Devin, and they both delivered. My favorite song out of both albums considered is Prioritize… not only are the verses and the beat crazy, but the hook interpolates lyrics from my favorite group of all time, OutKast, and the energy of the song/video is akin to that of Benz or Beamer.

Nothing but great music on both, but if I absolutely had to choose, PT1 gets the edge in my book.

  22. was just thinking about this earlier, I think Pilot Talk 2 ultimately wins in my opinion.

  23. I gotta go with pilot talk 2 it got more of a jazzy laid back vibe that u can just cruise to plus I can put it on when I’m riding with the bitches n they can vibe to it too

  24. 2!

  25. i mean, silence was my favorite. mckenzie was pretty god damn annoying though.

example, though. yeah. that song definitely takes the cake. pt1. i’ve made up my mind.

  26. TYLER THE CREATOR BASTARD!
BECAUSE IM AN ODD FUTURE DICK RIDER

  27. PT1 i love PT2 but the original was soooo much doper

  28. Can’t choose..
PT: King Kong, Example, Prioritize, Flying iron, scalin the building.

PT2: Micheal Knight, Famous, Hold On, Highed Up.

Just put the pilot talks on shuffle..

  29. Pilot Talk. Both are ill but Roasted is pretty much my theme song most days. Lames catch feelings etc..

  30. PT 2 !!!!!!!! OG ( JAM ) & FAMOUS !!!!!!!!!!!

  31. Spitta goes hard but sometimes his sounds just seems a lil a dull I’m not saying go pop or anything idk.. maybe its the mixing of his records.. like wiz records sound exciting drake sounds exciting wayne sounds exciting but spitta on the other hand sound boring

  32. Pilot Talk 2. Siema kurwa!

  33. while i ride to both albums PT1 is the my favorite. the standout cuts for me are Breakfast; which is dope ass fuck, Spitta flows over the bouncy horn filled track to perfection , Audio Dope 2, King Kong and my all time favorite Curren$y track Address. That beat is so ill as soon as it comes on it gets my head nodding instantly. And the verses from him and Stalley are so on point. Classic record in my opinion. the visuals for the song convey the vibe perfectly; chillin in some nice ass weather, with good people and some good smoke.

  34. its hard
but ima go wit pilot talk
both dopoe albums, rolling papers only had lik 3 gud tracks shitty ass nigga currensy need to distance his self from wiz

  35. PT1 bro

  36. Pilot Talk 1…Simply for the fact that Breakfast is on it.

  37. what up with these wolf pack erl sweatshirt niggaz???????????????

  38. the first. the second feels more like a good mixtape

  39. hard to say. two GREAT albums. PT1 by a hair.

Breakfast, The Day, Address, Audio Dope II. Too many gems.

  40. I’m goind with Pilot Talk 1. Both of them are ill though. The songs on two seemed to be a lot shorter though.

  41. damn this is a good post. When pilot talk first came out i wasn’t feeling it, then pilot talk 2 immediately thought it was dope. but after i started smoking i find myself listening to the original pilot talk more

  42. i hated the mixing of PTI..it sounds hella slowed down..

Breakfast is a classic record, but umma got wit PTII…you can let that ride from track#1 Airborne aquarium montreaux micheal knight..Nuff said

  43. Pilot Talk sounds green and Pilot Talk sounds Purple

  44. Pilot Talk sounds green and Pilot Talk 2 sounds Purple

  45. PT1=Example, Audio Dope II, King Kong, Seat Change, Breakfast, Skybourne, The Day, Chilled Coughphee & Address
PT2=Michael Knight, Famous, Real Estates, Silence, Hold On, Highed Up, O.G. (The Jar) & Michael Knight (Remix)

    So yeah it’s a tie.

  46. Would go with Pilot Talk 1 because I enjoy every track. Pilot Talk 2 got some songs that seemed rushed and dont really blend with the rest of the album.

  47. ^^^^ best replay of them all

  48. Cnt Go Wrong With Any, But iBump That Independence Day Mixtape All Day.

  49. both are classics but pilot talk 2 i could listen to all day, real estates and montreux are two of my favorite curren$y songs

  50. PT1 Bitchessss

  51. Pilot talk 2

  52. Pilot Talk 1. I love the variation in production. Audio Dope 2 >

  53. Life Under the Scope,(Original) Breakfast, King Kong, Address v. Airborne Aquarium …Micheal Knight …Montreaux ..Famous. Tough call, Ive been checking for Spitta from G Series to now so to see Curren$y Win w/Pilot Talk was niice…

The sound quality and the way the tracks meshed in PTII was so ill..But PTI for me

  54. both are dope but every song on pilot talks soo sick, and same with pt2 but there are a couple songs on pt2 that just dont compare with the songs on the first

  55. i feel like he recorded both albums around the same time … and his label just said “we can make more money off of 2 albums”

i vote PT1 cause Seat Change is my shit …as well as Address
but yeah, if you played them both on shuffle … u wouldnt be able to really tell a difference in the two

  56. PT2 is the chillest album I’ve ever heard. Airborne Aquarium is my favorite Spitta song. There’s no beast verse on it like Jay Elec’s The Day verse but overall it’s a lot better IMO.

    @Nate Deezy
You didn’t think that, it’s cus those are the album cover colors dumbass.

  57. mos def original check out breakfast live acapella in daytona http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H6bC-z8fgeI

  58. great post….Pilot Talk 2 is still in rotation, still a new cd in my mind so I’d play that. But if you are comparing which is better i’d go with PT1 because of The Day and Breakfast

  59. Can’t go wrong with either of the two. They are (for the most part) both produced by Ski so they have a cohesive sound.

PT1 reminds me of summer though, so I’d probably choose that one.

  60. Pilot Talk is better than Pt.2

Every track is solid, especially The Day, Breakfast, and Roasted..Pilot Talk II is still good but just isn’t as moving to me

  61. PT1 > PT2 …

But they are both really really dope in their own right… PT2 still gets spins from me tho… Probly because it’s newer…
Tho I believe “Address’” was/is his best song… They’re both great in their own right tho…

    P.S. Curren$y >>>>>>>>>> Wiz

  62. Pt.2 got good cuts like Micheal Knight but as a whole pilot talk Pt.1, sells a better concept.

  63. I would go with pilot talk 2 they both a great but i just fucks with 2 more because of famous, silence, and airborn aquarium

  64. PT 1 for sure. But when people are naming their favorite tracks how has no one mentioned Montreux from PT 2? Al Jarreau in the third row.

  65. PT1 all day. they both are fire tho

  66. Pilot Talk I had it’s songs, but I prefer Pilot Talk II a lot more.
The jazz samples and production on the album is just flawless.
But both are albums are great.

  67. Oh, shit that’s a hard one. Both of them are amazing, PT1 has King Kong, Breakfast, Roasted, Skybourne, The Day, Address (Curren$y’s best song in my opinion, together with Car Service and Hold On). PT2 has Michael Knight, Flight Briefing, Real Estates, Silence, Hold On, O.G. Overall I’d go with PT1 though, it’s a bit better.

  68. PILOT TALK 1/AUDIO DOPE II IS MY SHIT BEST SONG TO DRIVE TO WHEN I LIFTED!!

  69. 1 is a classic…2 is still great but idk if it can touch the 1st

  70. pt1 is better but airborne aquarium is the best song from the 2

  71. Pilot Talk has the best songs but Pilot Talk II is the better album. I agree with the dude above me about the first one being a summer album, but either one is great.

  72. MY BEAUTIFUL DARK TWISTED FANTASY! AKA PILOT TALK 1

  73. PT2! Famous, Real Estates, Fashionably Late… All dope

  74. Pilot Talk 1 is better caused PT2 seemed rushed and a little all over the place in sound.

  75. pilot talk 2 was a mixtape in comparison.

  76. PT1 hands DOWN! PT2 was cool, has some cool stuff on there. But IMO PT1 is a classic type of album that I’ll be listening to for years. B4 u fucking internet rap nerds wil’ out, not “classic” like the purple tape, but a personal classic for me and my lifestyle.

    Chuuch.

  77. Pilot Talk 2, better good song to average song ratio that Pilot Talk 1.

  78. the original, hands down.

  79. PT1… Example is my theme music

  80. Pilot Talk 2. Simply because of “Famous”

  81. Psh… I always have a copy of MBDTF on hand.

  82. Pilot Talk…
    It’s an amazing album.
Does anyone know if that Flying Iron track will be officially released? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FbzulCoj6WI

  83. PT2 was shit… only 3 good songs. PT1 was classic ish

  84. Pilot Talk 1 I played it not to long ago & was rappin out every word its something about PT1 that just gives me that feeling like back in the day… but for the fact that I picked 1 over 2 still doesnt take away from the greatness of Pilot Talk 2 I love both albums I just always stick with the first out of all!

  85. Pilot Talk 1 was (2)dope. I think the main factor were the beats. The production on the original shits on the sequel.

  86. I love both albums but Pilot Talk 1 was better in my opinion

  87. I would have to go with Pilot Talk II…I love the jazz beats.

  88. Pilot Talk 1 had too many disappointments, where is, Pt. 2 sounded more complete and had really no fillers. I hated Silence though.

PT. 1 : Example, Audio Dope 2, King Kong, Address, Prioritize

PT. 2 : Airborne Aquarium, Michael Knight, Montreux, Hold On, Famous, Fashionably Late

  89. 1st pilot talk King Kong and got shit on me…鬼dope!!
    All Shit Best Song

  90. Real talk, I never even checked pt 2 out. But Pt 1′s been on rotation since it came out. His best is still Fast Times at Ridgemont Fly.

  91. i woulda went wit PT2. once u take off wit airborne aquarium its gna be a great flight

  92. Prioritize (Beeper Bill) is my favorite song on Pilot Talk 1 great smoking song lol so ill just go with pilot talk 1 just for that song

  93. PT2 is a smoother album throughout, rather listen to that
but PT1 had some lovely tracks

  94. PT2. although breakfast is my favorite track out of both

  95. #2

  96. PT2 for care PT1 if your high in the car

  97. PT1. They’re both good, but if I were to listen to an album in its entirety, PT1 is it.

  98. Funny thing is these are the only two cd’s in my car as well, everytime I forget my ipod I’m faced with the same dilemma. Both are in my top 5 projects of ’10… but in which one is better…impossible decision…

  99. @MAGAD why would you have pt 1 in heavy rotation, and not get 2?

  100. Pilot Talk 1 by far

  101. Pilot Talk 1. Example is curren$y’s best song.

  102. ahh both great. i like PT2 better though

  103. PT1 for Audio Dope II

  104. I’ll tell you what lil’ niggers. I woulda gone with da Pilot Talk 2 because of the consistent atmosphere it maintains throughout. Silence is the worst song on the album though, Shake only likes it cause he’s a lil white boy.

  105. If you combine the 2, it would equal one of the greatest albums of all time…
Take Example, Audio Dope 2, Breakfast, Roasted, Hangover, The Day, Prioritize, Address, Life Under The Scope off PT1

&Take Airborne Aquarium, Michael Knight, Flight Breifing, Silence, Hold On, Highed Up off PT2…

Then your in for one of the greatest albums off ALL TIME…

    PT1 > PT2 …

Jets over everythang, includin the Taylor Gang

  106. pt 2 and its not even close, first is too all over the place, second is focused and has a chilled dopeness throughout

  107. PT1>PT2 but I agree about “Silence” being one of the best songs.

  108. 1 > 2

2 leaves you hanging like there could be some more tracks on there. 1 you can bump straight through… classic IMO. 1 WINS.

  109. PT1, AUDIO DOOOOPPPPEEE

  110. I love all of Curren$y’s projects, but Pilot Talk 1 is my favorite. While 2 is a more cohesive album, 1 is more well rounded. Lots of different kinds of beats and concepts. At least imo.

  111. Pilot Talk 1, because it is more consistant

  112. I liked Pilot Talk II better if I’m chillin, but Pilot Talk I is still so dope and probably better in the whip.

  113. wow… what a synchronicity…out of the blue today I chose to listen to both of these as well… I chose PT 2 first tho…. But I would say that they’re equally piff…. Can’t go wrong with all of that Ski Beatz production..

  114. PT1 is better than PT2. Although it would be much closer if I just count “Flying Iron” w/ Fiend as a PT2 song. That is easily one of Spitta’s best song. People would kill for a beat like that and he and Fiend wrecked it so effortlessly.

  115. pilot talk. done & done.

  116. @xlakers520x: Idk, I just haven’t been on my Herbologist state of mind. haha. I got tired of stoners, so I just layed off the music too. But Ridgemont Fly still gets plays every now & then.

  117. PILOT TALK 2! lryics are so much doper

  118. Ain’t nothing change but the Adress…..there.

  119. airborne aquarium is my favorite track off both albums

  120. Funny, cause Silence is probably my least favorite from either. As for the question, Pilot Talk > PT 2.

  121. Pilot talk > Pt. 2 King Kong & Audio Dope II is the shit!

  122. pilot talk 1

its all about the beats and choruses, u cant honestly listen to himi for lyrics,,cos he says the same thing on EVERY SONG, literally, but 1 is very cohesive chilled, uplifting and mean at the same time

    highlights:
    audiodope2
    breakfast
    roasted
    skybourne (chorus is CRAZY)
    Address
    the day

  123. Pilot Talk by far. I only liked one song off of Pt. 2 and that was Airborne Aquarium.

  124. Pilot Talk easily. But PT2 do have Airborne Aquarium & Famous

  125. Pilot Talk 1 Easily.

  126. OG Pilot Talk is the business…I could have done without the Raekwon remix of Michael Knight on PT2…but PT is something you can easily listen to in its entirety…on 2nd thought they are both easy to listen to all the way thru…cant decide

  127. Pilot Talk # 1 for sure. no explanation necessary

  128. Pilot Talk 1. No questions asked. PT2 was great too though not gonna lie. Jets fool!

  129. two 4sure
highed up and airborne aquarium…nuff said

  130. Crazy hard decision. Only way I could personally decide is to flip a coin. Just too hard to pick.

  131. my opinion, i think pilot talk 1 is raw and lyrically dope BUT im lovin them smooth joints and pilot talk 2 def got em like airborne, OG, flight briefing, montreux, famous + micheal knight and HOLD ON !!! Pilot T2 thumbs up with ya girls skirt up !

  132. Personally, Pilot Talk I by a long shot. It was more solid to me. Pilot Talk II had some very solid tracks on it though, but I don’t think it was as strong of an album.

    But #JetsFool!

Oh, you guys could put in little polls from time to time.. in a way that we can all see the results. Peace!

  133. both of em no need to pick dog these are the jams!

    @steakNeggs

  134. I say PT2, because it just has a real laid back feel to it and thats what i like to listen to when i drive. My favorite song is Real Estate. And whenever i listen to PT i tend to skip over The Day, i never skip with PT2.

  135. I listen to both as if it were one album….back to back…..cause thats how I roll….naw for real, cause there both slammin’.

  136. For me both are great, but for listen right now? Pilot Talk 2

  137. I prefer PT1. Not taking anything away from Pilot Talk 2. I just overly enjoy the original more.

  138. PT1 why? Pay your Fxcking Beeper bill. Prioritize!

  139. both dope! but Pilot Talk pt1 because it had Devin The Dude & Jay Electronica on it!

  140. pilot talk uno. audio dopee

  141. Pilot Talk 2, it had harder beatz & well organized lyricism!

  142. #2 on the strength of spitta snappin on airborne aquarium and also roddy & trademark’s verses on both features

  143. and the beats.

  144. Pilot Talk 2..it got my cut “Famous” “Hold On” and of Course “Michael Knight”..Nothing against Pilot Talk tho.

    *Seattle Stand Up*

  145. pilot talk had better beats i think. but pilot talk two is better

  146. Pilot Talk 1 and 2 knock depending on my mood. I’m about to bump 2 right now!

  147. would popped both in the cd changer and let’em play from the start of PT1 to the end of PT2 and repeated that throught the day until i fell asleep

  148. Pilot Talk gets a straight play through no skips…Pilot Talk 2 has a couple of tracks that might get skipped if i’m not in the right mood.

  149. I have the same dilemma and choose PT2 most of the time, there’s just something about “Airborne Aquarium” that makes it worth clicking. As soon as “Michael Knight” hits I’m like “great fucking decision!” Then I see “Breakfast” of PT1, and cheat over and listen to it once or twice, then dive back into PT2.

This is pointless though, there both dope.

    Btw, WHERE ARE THE MCChronicles?

  150. there both garbage, why would you even buy them? lmao smh

  151. The Man That Will Save The World From Destruction By The Devil Worshipping Illuminati By Exposing The Truth About Their Dark Tactics To Control Our Minds And The Fate Of The Universe AKA Robbie Maynard The III’s Second Cousins’ Friends Uncle’s Secretary

  152. i decided to play Jet Life To The Next Life instead

  153. WOW, pt1 is a classic, but i listen to pt2 more…. pt1 got me with audio dope II– FUCKING AMAZING, but Airborne aquarium– 1st HARDEST TRACK.. . . idk

  154. Pilot Talk all day, according to my Itunes I’ve played PT 74 times from start to finish compared to 29 for PT2

  155. I love both but pilot talk 2 goes in the whole way through.”she already know before she touch my Chevy door”

  156. You don’t start a story from the end. You take it chapter by chapter. Pilot Talk I, then Pilot Talk II.

  157. to me Pilot Talk 1 was way better then Pilot Talk 2

    – Johnny Ciphe

    http://twitter.com/JohnnyCiphe

  158. Can’t go wrong with either one! But i gotta say that Michael Khight shit was my favorite song.

  159. …1st Pilot Talk. PTII is ill, but come on, “Skybourne”, “Roasted” & “King Kong”?

    …Exactly.

  160. …Can’t believe I left out “Address”.

  161. i would have killed myself

  162. FUCK SHAKE. FUCK THAT NIGGA MEKA TOO.

  163. Such a tough question, I think realistically, you have to play 1 then 2. 1 is more of an album in truth. Example is the best hip-hop song of 2010, and then there’s just banger after burner. Pilot Talk 2, has some amazing fucking tracks, like Hold On, and Airborne Aquarium etc, but i find myself too tempted to skip Silence and two of the same song essentially – michael knight – is just more of a mixtape thing, not an album. Having said that, my point remains, you can’t choose either, because it’s not meant to be like that.

    JUST ENJOY THAT SHIT!

  164. FUCK EVERYONE PILOT TALK 1 FOR REALSSSSSSSS

  165. Shows how great both these albums are that there’s no definitive answer to which one’s better and pretty much everyone seems to think they’re both dope. For me its Pilot Talk 2, but its just an opinion

  166. Since both albums are relatively short I always listen to both of them in sequence like it was 1 album, I suggest you try this.

But I still enjoy the first half of this ‘album’ more. So I guess I’ll go with Pilot Talk I

  167. That like choosing between a chick that has huge tits & a chick with a phat ass LOL..anyway you gonna get yours LOL…but Pilot Talk 1 is the classic

  168. Pilot Talk. Address and Life Under The Scope.

  169. PT.1!!!!!! Address!!!!!!!

  170. close ur eyes and pick , both r dope as fuck

  171. was is kayne even being mentioned.. with My two fav albums and this hippie stoner hip hop movement. pt 1 is good on the vaporizer pt 2 is good with the vaporizer lol

  172. can you spread the word about this @Statquo petition please? http://www.petitiononline.com/statquo/petition.html its to get the ’07 version of statlanta out there!

  173. PT!…i haven’t really given PT2 much rec because i liked the first so much. Address is my joint off PT!

  174. pilot talk pt. 1. i like the beats better on pt. 1 but both albums are the shit.

audio dope, breakfast, roasted, example, hangover, the day
    c’mon now

  175. 1! Those first four songs: Example, Audio Dope II and King Kong, Seat Change are untouchable. PT 2 is classic material but PT 1 beats it a little.

  176. BOTH!! Starting with the first one…any real spitta fan knows how much pt1 stood for…then pt2 is HOT and if u fuq with the jetlife u wouldnt have to even ask or wonder which to play…youd just play em both

  177. Pilot Talk I is a masterpiece
Pilot Talk II felt to me like it was rushed even though there is still good music on it..
    so Pilot Talk I..
    JETS FOOL

  178. Play all 26 tracks.

  179. Pilot Talk 1. It’s more versitile with the beats and is more fun & free.

Pilot Talk 2 is dope but pretty much all the beats have horn or a jazzy sound. I like these sounds but it’s not diverse enough.

    PT1 is fun & PT2 is mature.

I can’t really call it but i guess PT1 because it has better features.

  180. PT1 is the more complete album. Although many of the tracks were out prior to release, it’s replay value is on par with The Black Album. The lyrics are great, the beats consistently construed and it all flows so well. PT2 has the few tracks that crush competition, yet it doesn’t quite hold up to the amazingness of the first. I personally see it as more of a mixtape. Pilot Talk does wonders for the stoner. Inspiring the lazy is difficult; every track does it by giving insight to the tough parts of life while showing off the joys that can come from hard work.
Pilot Talk 2 bangs with airborne aquarium and hold on, but lacks the replayability of the first.
Relating curren$y to my favorite band from around the 2000 era, I see PT1 as Meteora and PT2 as Minutes to Midnight. If Spitta takes the lyrics and accuracy of words over the beat he had on the first, adds in the style shown on tracks like famous and hold on, then perhaps Pilot Talk 3 will match Hybrid Theory making one heluva classic.

  181. 2

  182. @whybother – are you comparing curren$y to linkin park? i think i just threw up in my mouth a little

  183. Pilot Talk 2. I liked the production a bit more.

  184. Definitley Pilot Talk 1. i like the versatility of it.

  185. Pilot Talk I is a personal classic to me. It really got me into Curren$y, the production was amazing it just captured me. At first I wasnt a big fan of II but slowly started listening to it more and more. Overall I would pick the Pilot Talk I over Pilot Talk II but you couldnt have went wrong either way.

  186. I’d have to say Pilot Talk 1 due to Prioritize, Address and Life Under The Scope

  187. damn every since this post ive been listening to both of them ad they’re SOOOOO GOOOOOOD! i’m gonna choose Pilot Talk 2 for the SOLE FACT that ive listened to Pilot Talk soooo much more, although they are classic songs, right now Pilot Talk 2s just a lil bit fresher

  188. Pilot Talk 2, airborne aquarium is just the best song

  189. Ive said it on here before but my favorite Currensy song is ON MY WAY. That should be the JETS anthem song. Every time I gotta catch a flight I gotta play that song cause its something classic about that shit.

  190. Pilot Talk 1. By farrrr…

  191. When U Find-Wiz Khalifa>>On My Way-Curren$y

Listen to both before spazzin my niggas.

  192. Pilot Talk 2…obvious.

  193. Pilot Talk 1 was awesome, but 2 is the one I really got into.

  194. Pilot Talk 1 because of Roasted.

  195. I would have somehow found So Far Gone.

    HAHAHAHAHA

    Fuck Outta here.

    Ummm,
    Pilot Talk 2 hands down.
1st one is definitely dope though.

  196. Pilot Talk 2. Silence be slappin all day. As well as real estate.

  197. on Pilot Talk 2 we had songs that were no cohesive with the “sound” of the album. We also had throwaway songs and washed up hooks- ie: Michael Knight, Michael Night Michael Knight”. You can tell Pilot Talk was his illmatic.

  198. Pilot Talk 1 Alllll Day. Much better features.

  199. Pt. 1 for me, it just bangs to many good tracks

  200. Pilot Talk 1 > Pilot Talk 2 & Famous > Silence

  201. This Ain’t No Mixtape & Jet Files > Pilot Talk & Pilot Talk 2

  202. PT 1 allll the way

  203. the only 2 cd’s i bought last year lol
PTII tho.. but PT1 is a classic, but 2 took curren$y imo to a whole new level, like i could play that album anywhere and shit made sense. #swag

  204. Oh yea, Prioritize is one of the best ever, so is Michael Knight

  205. PT1 because of Skybourne, The Day, Example, Audio Dope 2 & Roasted. Breakfast bangs 2.

  206. PT1=Example, Audio Dope II, King Kong, Seat Change, Breakfast, Skybourne, The Day, Chilled Coughphee & Address
PT2=Michael Knight, Famous, Real Estates, Silence, Hold On, Highed Up, O.G. (The Jar) & Michael Knight (Remix)

    So yeah it’s a tie.

    ——————————————————

Pilot Talk Part 1, but Famous brings PT2 almost to a tie.

  207. numero uno. the hangover with sir michael rocks is still the jam

  208. PT1 ALL DAYYY!!!

  209. PT1 by just a pinch

  210. It would really depend on my mood which one would get burn. PT2 would get get burn 50% of the time. No rationale. I love both albums. Spitta is killing both albums.

That’s why I have Spitta on my iPhone and my iPod… I’ll never end up with that fucked up situation. And then if something caused those two to fail I would burn an MP3 cd with all my favs.

This is starting to sound more like a 20th century problem….. lol

  211. PT2 Because it has ‘Real Estates’ on there with Dom Kennedy. That shit goes.

  212. Pilot Talk 1 > Pilot Talk 2, I also have both those cd’s
    Adress & Example >>>

  213. best songs on 1
    king kong, PRIORITIZE, breakfast
    2
    hold on, OG, airborne

    1>2

  214. PTI best songs: Example,Seat Change, Skybourne, Breakfast, Chilled Coughee

PT2 best songs: Montreaux, Famous, A gee, Highed up, Real Estates

    PT1 > PT2, though Pt2 is still in rotation!!!!

also, Pilot Talk 1 dominates with the artwork .

  215. Pilot Talk 2 was way better than the first one. Its not even a tough decision. The First one was okay, Part 2 however, was riding all the way though. Real Estates, Famous, airborne aquarium. c’mon. not even close. King Kong is my shit though

  216. Pilot Talk 2 >>>> Pilot Talk … The highs are higher on PT, but the lows are also lower. I’m listening to PT2 right now and i’m on track 6 and i haven’t thought about skipping a track … I skip “Example” and a few other tracks on PT … PT2 is a more consistent listen and the sound quality is alot better.

  217. By the way, Smoke DZA >>> Curren$y on Ski Beatz production.

  218. damnnnn dats tough!!! honestly it depends what mood your in. but both albums are classix…pssh burn em both and put em all on one disk =P

  219. i pick da first one. it made more sense

  220. Pilot Talk 1, only because the style of production used by Ski Beatz is more unique than on Pilot Talk II. Also, just because my two favorite tracks of the year are on there (Example, Breakfast).
