I like Odd Future’s music and their attitude. All the albums and mixtapes I’ve heard have been class. But they’re yet to make an album, so we’ll see what happens. No doubt they’ll release a hot album, then flop on the second. I don’t think they’ve got potential for longevity, but they’re exciting right now.
I’m a HUGE fan of 2Dopeboyz and have been for years. I don’t jump on the ‘Fuck 2Dopeboyz’ bandwagon at all. Without this site, I wouldn’t have heard a lot of hot music and it’s miles ahead of the other hip hop blogs. But sometimes I feel internet bloggers get a little above their station, like Perez Hilton. You’re an internet blogger – that’s all. You’re not journalists or celebrities, so keep your feet firmly on the ground.

This site is my favorite source for hip-hop music. But its a turn for the worse that the guys who run it have started to let their personal egos get in the way of posting good music…which is what this blog is intended to do. At the end of the day this isn’t a personal blog. This is a music blog. Do you see ESPN not reporting on Aaron Rodgers because he said he hates Tony Kornheiser? No. At the end of the day, Shake and Meka…you guys are part of the media culture. No one really cares what Tyler the Creator thinks of you guys. I love his music and I still come here because its the best source for hip hop music. I’m an Aaron Rodgers fan, but I also still watch PTI because its entertaining. You’d be right to say that they are a gimmick BUT when you have cosigns from EVERY MOTHERFUCKING PERSON IN MUSIC then you have to be somewhat talented.
