  3. Damn. Really like Ilyas A LOT but his last mixtape was filled with bad production choices, in my opinion and this seems right up that alley. When he decides to go IN, he’s the nicest in the crew but when left to his own devices, he indulges in the self pity, inner struggle thing a little too much for me. Def get that “super talented/ready to go off the deep end” vibe from him. I kinda saw him leavin the group long before it happened. Peace to the brotha, tho. Seems like he’s doin what HE wants to do which is more than I can say for a lot of niggas in the game.

  5. If you seriously want to be “different” then do it right…this is horrible…I think they were more focused on the sub par visuals rather than the actual song..

    The Tanya Morgan stuff is alot better…he needs to get back on that ish..

  6. @Jiz Thanks for your concern but I’m cool. No deep end in sight lol I love them dudes and the music we make. Its not always a “beef”. Sometimes family and other priorities take precedence over your own aspirations…and I can live with that. So enjoy the purge…this was recorded 3 years ago. Mr. Nashid is an artist which is extremely similar to being a research scientist who must experiment to determine what the outcome of certain variables will be when combined with or seperated from other certain variables. The only constant when creating something is your level of willingness to go wherever the moment takes you. Not exploring different avenues and styles based on popular opinion would be much more of a disservice to all of us who listen to his music because he would not be able to bounce all of his ideas and styles off of us to get feedback as to what we like and don’t like. Besides, the kid is a good friend of mine and he can do whatever the fuck he wants bitches. Cause I say so.
