J. Cole – Killers

“Celebrated creative mind Alex Haldi has collaborated with some of music’s biggest stars including Jay-Z, Rihanna, Big Boi, Wu-Tang, Ludacris, J. Cole & LL Cool J, and is putting the finishing touches on his own solo art event May 12, 2011 in NYC at World Monuments Fund Gallery. Exploring the human fascination with organized crime, ‘The Glorification of Gangster’ showcases some of the key players and criminal lifestyles across the globe and many generations. The art at the show will consist of three elements: Fine art (including mixed media paintings on wood), Oversized Typography Murals, and Retro Pop-Art Illustrations. Portions of work sold will be going to charity.

A promotional mixtape is to be released in the next month which will include a series of original music, mash-up remixes, and classic covers by a number of different acts that are all linked thematically with ‘Crime’. The talent will vary across different musical genres (hip-hop, rap, rock, electronic, etc.), and includes music from artists like J. Cole, Kris Kasanova, Voli, Andrew Maury (Ra Ra Riot producer and RAC), Jon Connor, Elite, Ritz, Lyn Charles, Loyal Divide, Neitherfriends, and many more. The download will be free, with a link to donate money to our charity.

I mean dude If big Sean actually drops an album before Cole… If kid cudi’s “wizard rock” album drops before cole’s.. If kanye west drops another solo album before Cole… If T.I. Gets out of jail before Cole drops an album… If another pokemon game comes out before cole’s album…

  32. dude is all about QUALITY. something none of you haters can appreciate. i’ll wait however long it takes cause when that album drops its gunna be a classic.

  33. You guys need to chill on asking for the album, he just put out a hot ass mixtape that I’m still bumping. Songs on there were going to be on his album, so now he’s basically putting a whole new piece together and still putting out song. You guys are too anxious for the album, which is good which means ppl that don’t him will want to buy the album once friday night lights finishes circulating.

  34. yeah you can hear the pac and nas influence in cole this dude is the future

  35. J.Cole is overrated, his good but not compare to Nas, or Rakim, too much dick ridin.
J.Cole for me is like Harold “Baby Jordan” Miner, just good dunks, just good lyrics, like Papoose & Canibus &…

  36. Saigon > J.Cole

  37. @Ya Bah just put out a mixtape? The mixtape dropped beginning of November and it’s now halfway through March lol The point is Cole has been signed for over 2 years and there isn’t even a HINT of his album dropping. There is not even an estimation of when it will drop. I don”t blame Cole though, it’s Rocnation’s fault. They are holding him back until he finds that ‘hit’ single which Cole admitted in a interview a month ago or so. He said he needs a record that will really blow and then the label will be comfortable enough to give him a release date. I personally think waiting is a bad idea because eventually fans get tired of waiting and then when they get a release date you don’t even really care as much anymore. He also has a huge buzz right now and half the people that would buy his album right now won’t buy his album 6 months from now, you can bet that! If his album drops end of the year he will be lucky to sell 75k first week. If he would have dropped his album say January or February he would have sold 200k+ his first week.

  38. J. Cole straight killed another track! Cole World!

  39. FOH Rezo. Outside of the ‘Ville & a few hundred internet nerds, J.Cole has no buzz right now. J.Cole’s buzz fizzled over a year ago. Dee Goodz has more buzz than J.Cole right now and not too many heads know about Dee Goodz…yet. And talking about sales in 2011 is laughable.

  40. Mr. Cole…..Mr. Cole…..yet another vibe to track. I swear this dude converges with a beat better than anybody I can think of right now… A great flow to a great beat, with a great concept!!!

  41. BORING BORING BORING BORING BORING BOOOOOOO BOO BOOOOOOOOOOOOORING!

  42. 27 People been fu*king round with them killers

  43. @rezo i bet you one of them guys that said “where’s the album?” when his mixtape dropped. you just too anxious to see him sell some numbers. He shut down the fucking internet when it dropped. he got buzz on tracks from the mixtape and he gon put out videos so he gonna have more fans. his mixtape was basically an album and he still putting out music. and it came out a couple months ago

  44. Lol These niggas acting like theres somthing better out then Cole. hahaha. Its a fucking Cole World. Get up on this shit cause its the best your going to get in todays hip hop Anyone else hating can go practice safe sex and go fuck their self.

  45. Just looking at these haters.. just wow. What else is better right now? honestly..

  46. good track.

  47. j cole on the real he on top he rapping about shit that people dont rap abut no more

  48. I dont know if its the labels fault all the time when a album doesnt drop because you can put 15 songs on a album and you only have to make one hit record. The people at Rocnation dont write rhymes so how can you blame them for J cole not making a hit record. Hes the one that chooses to rap over mellow beats and this song is actually only like the 2nd time ive said to myself that was dope. His other music is just to soft a vibe for me and no im not saying hes wack. I know people at labels can be assholes , trust me I know but when they want a hit record he should just give it to them so he can get a release date. Dude got the other 95% of the album to try to make conscious records. You can blame a label when a album is complete and its from a established artist he has already dropped good albums but if the artist is new and the album still aint dropping its prolly the artist fault.

  49. I scoff at 99% of the bullshit “marty mcfly” posts. However, his latest essay he dropped off here is actually true. If Cole dropped an album now he’d sell 50,000 first week and maybe get 250,000 total. He makes incredibly dope music but he needs a hit. He’s not indie, he’s on a massive label that is into making money, and because of that he needs a hit RADIO single. That is how it works boys and girls. Without said single his album will not drop, which is probably better for him in the long run. Patience is a virtue, and at least unlike Jay Overrated, err, Electronica, he’s putting out dope music often. Cole World.

  50. @rofl , you say my name alot man but anyway people thinking that making fans wait past a certain boiling point in a artists buzz is a good thing when its not. POSITION is more of a virtue then PATIENCE. J cole is in a better position then Jay Elec in terms of anticipation because hes much more relatable then Jays bringing ancient mathematics back to modern man is to the fans.

  51. cole world…………….J Cole killed this cant wait for that ablum ,cole hasnt put out any bad mixtapes or music yet got to give credit where credit is due.

  52. I will say in Coles defense though , if he already gave Rocnation some potential hit songs and they keep sayin its not good enough then thats some bitch shit but I doubt thats the case.

  53. damn, i’m feeling this.
he has to drop his fucking album!

  54. it’s either A. Hole himself or his groupies that always come to the defense of his wack music. this nigga has been on a drastic decline momentum for so long now, that nobody gives a fuck about his album no more. I’m not even going to discuss sales numbers, because I don’t grade motherfuckers based of that. but…if a nigga is proclaiming high all mighty cross-over appeal like this nigga A. Hole been doing for over two years now, the nigga is going to get called out on the carpet. this shape shifting eyebrow rapper has been talking shit from day one about his never coming out album. this nigga should be embarrassed throwing up the roc sign and repeating the same story how he met up with jay. the nigga sounds tired and bored out of his mind with his new material. there’s nothing groundbreaking or exciting with the BS this nigga is spittin’. he’s the new PAPOOSE of the game and yall niggaz are scared to admit to it. only way this nigga can get a boost in his career is when Jay-Z does a track with him to promote his never coming out album. besides that, there’s nothing left business wise anyone can do with A. Hole for him to elevate himself to the next level. he’s not that good as he claims to be. slap a seersucker suit on a kangaroo and keep it moving. A. HOLE YOU PAPOOSED YOURSELF!

  55. so uhm ; where’s voli.. colab would fuckin murder this.
