(2)Deep: E. Bros – Funky Piano (prod. Roc Raida & Knobody)

Off the New Jersey Drive soundtrack (Part 2), which in this purist’s opinion, was way better than the first volume; and part two was an EP. I could be wrong here, but I’m pretty confident I read somewhere that this was one of Roc Raida’s (Rest In Peace) first productions, and a classic for a debut behind the boards. I really wish we got to hear more of these two great minds (Raida & Wayne-O) put together besides Funky Piano and their collaborative LP from 2000.

  12. Field Niggaz was Raida and Knobody. They also did Jungle Brothers’ “How You Want It (I Got It).” I didn’t realize until a few years ago that Knobody is the same guy that did Can’t Knock the Hustle.
