(2)Deep: Power of the Dollar

Ain’t no future in my fronting. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed all these new joints 50 recently leaked to the net. Glad to hear him back on his How To Rob… sound. Well, almost. Decided to upload some classic joints from Curtis, off the unofficial Power of the Dollar EP. Anyone remember the tape that had all the snippets plus the Hot 97 interviews?

  5. “Anyone remember the tape that had all the snippets plus the Hot 97 interviews?” <– Anyone know more about this? I actually have the tape…. autographed by 50… I've always wondered if these were rare (I'd assume so since I've only seen the one I have and have never heard anyone mention it before now). If someone knows some more info on it I'd appreciate it! Thanks!

  6. 1st off, all these new 50 tracks have been average as hell. same ol shit.

  26. “album with the snippets is probably 24 Shots of Guess Who’s Back?” <– Nope it was actually a promo cassette to promote Power of the Dollar. It says on the side of the cardboard case "Excerpts from the forthcoming Track Masters/Columbia release "Power of the Dollar." It has 7 tracks (snippets) with interviews: (1) Ed Lover Intro (2) Your Life's On The Line / Hot 97 Interview Part 1 (3) The Good Die Young / Hot 97 Interview Part 2 (4) Money By Any Means / Hot 97 Interview Part 3 (5) Da Repercussions / Hot 97 Interview Part 4 (6) The Hit / Hot 97 Interview Part 5 (6) How To Rob / Hot 97 Interview Part 6

  27. @mmkayy: it’s all opinion, i’d say sage francis got better than he was on his previous material (still like his older material) but people will argue i’m just being stupid, in my opinion power of the dollar is 50s only good stuff, ghetto quran was ill

  28. Guess Whos Back is a better album then Power of a Dollar

  29. This + Guess Who’s Back? = 50′s best CDs.

  30. This + Guess Who’s Back? = 50′s best CDs

  31. @mmkayy

Wu-Tang Clan have been making music like they used to for far longer than 50, and of a much higher quality.

  32. Hey, let me put that a third time.
