1. I don’t get it fans cry for real hip hop and when they get it NOBODY cares. I am starting to think most hip hop fans are bi-polar. Majority of hip hop fans are as fake as Lil Kim’s face, but they all swear they keep it 100. They cry for real music, but then there is always conditions that come with it. They won’t give it a chance unless the artist has major co-signs, well known producers, 100k+ followers on Twitter, and people sucking his dick all over the internet. That shit shouldn’t matter, good music is good music. Kendrick Lamar gets like 50+ comments every post sucking his sick on here and he will NEVER release an album as dope as this because he isn’t capable. Nobody gave a fuck about him until Dre and J. Cole started riding his dick hard (pause). His music is the same, which is average, and co-signs don’t make it any better. Saigon on the otherhand has the masses sleeping on him so therefore hip hop fans think it’s wack to give him props. People just don’t realize how fucking corny they are that they have to look around to see what everyone else is doing before they will do it. People like that need to grow the fuck up and fix their insecurities. Try being different before ALL hip hop sounds the same and then you niggas really start crying.

   i dunno though at the same time music’s always been like that even before the internet though.. you’ll have a cool friend that’s up on some shit you haven’t heard of then once everyone starts liking them he’ll shit on them for selling out or say “he likes their old shit better than their new shit” even if the new shit is obviously 100 times better.. people want to find the next all the time and be lauded and applauded for being the pioneer fan or somethin..

   it’s baffled me for months how drake gets talked about like he’s the fucking boss lyricist.. his flow sucks and music is irritating as hell but oooh he’s got something to do with lil wayne.. ooooh lil wayne.. the internet is just this incredible hype machine and i’m convinced lil wayne and kanye west could make people sell their souls for the right price or at least listen to or wear or go and see anything

10. I almost feel like if an artist makes music thats lyrically incredible people just hate because they dont want to believe theres someone out there better their favorite rapper. Or if a mc is extraordinary then people just get mad for whatever reason. I dont understand why Saigon or say Skyzoo dont have a crazy fanbase like Currensy and Kendrick , like do people even hear the lyrics. Everybody is starting to gravitate to whats regular ( like wearing all black clothes in every photo and mellow sounding beats like a R&B record ) and hating on whats incredible talent. Lastly im sorry cause I know I cosign Drakes music on here alot and I do think a artist like Saigon is more skilled BUT people who say Drake cant rap or that hes average , it makes me wonder if you people hear the shit he be sayin or even understand it ? If I did my delorean driver thing with Drakes verses I could prolly pull up 50 verses thats all dope from Drake. So what are people talkin about ? If people sleep on Jay Electronica when he comes out I wont say hip hop is dead but ill say conscious rap is dead.

12. I had to do it man this Drake verse , like Saigons whole album is what spitting is all about. There are so many examples of dopeness in this one verse its ridiculous. No shot at Currensy , Kendrick and J cole cause they have their dope moments too but you cant be considered dope just because you smoke alot of weed and dress like an average joe. Im just glad Saigons story actually got told even if nobody below 21 wants to hear it.

14. Wow Kendrick hate on a Saigon post??? Anyway I’m happy for the man although I feel it’s much too late I remeber back when the biggest producer in the game just blaze stamped this dude and jay-z co-signed him and budden beefed with him and a bunch other things and finally his project sees the light of day. He’s a winner in my book and he makes good music but let’s keep it “100″ there’s no need to shit on Kendrick to prove your point. Kendrick was hot b4 the dre co-sign check the first week sales on his o.d project and that’s with no co-sign and no lable. And as far as the Cole collab that’s a straight power move buddy and it’s good for hip-hop so is Saigon. Please don’t b angry cause one artist is getting more shine then another.

19. MoodMuzik I agreed until the little Kendrick Lamar rant. People had been all over K.Dot when O.D. dropped. People were fiending for that mixtape! I never heard of K.Dot before but wen that tape dropped I was sucked into the TDE movement.
    You’re right about much of the other stuff though.
