So Kendrick had a show at Los Angeles’ Key Club last night but didn’t think it was enough to just perform himself, so he instead brought out Murs, Dom Kennedy, Big Sean, Skeme, Casey Veggies, his Black Hippy compatriots and, eventually, Dr. Dre himself. Nice. Props to Brooklyne.

I’d like to point out that Pitchfork gave Gunplay (from Triple C’s) latest mixtape a 7.8.
That website has the most insulting rap reviews out of any other music review site that I know of.
@ red – don’t sweat that pitchfork review. they gave waka flaka and 8.0, but gave little brother a 6.5. They are just for hipsters, they have no idea whats really poppin’ in hip-hop.
^^ I would say Livemixtapes has that title. The highest rated tapes on that site are all Gucci Mane, Yo Gotti, Waka, Jeezy, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Tyga, and so on. Livemixtapes is nothing but ignorant Worldstar losers who think lyrics are boring cause they want a rapper who goes “hard”. Just read the comments on Livemixtapes, it sounds like a bunch of test tube babies.

@IZM I personally think H.O.P.E is better than everyone on your list not named Blu and Fashawn. Everyone else is highly overrated and Dre is only co-signing Kendrick because he is desperate for the West to get shine again. He even admitted that in an interview not that long ago. Schoolboy Q and Ab-Soul (whatever his name is) are both garbage. Kendrick is the only one out of that group that is actually good. Dre is just trying to get on stage to promote Detox and he is using Kendrick’s buzz right now to do it. I don’t know how I am the only one intelligent enough to realize that Dre has an agenda, he doesn’t actually fuck with Kendrick like that. He is just trying to dust his old self off and eat off of the younger guy who has relevance right now.
