Anybody who says they do, obviously hasn’t taken the time to read EVERYTHING in their book. Or discover origins of their religious cult.
IF (any) God was real (there have been hundreds of documented gods) the book would be better. SO much better. If any god was real, that god would also be BETTER. The way in which the religions describe him is so piss poor. If I can imagine a better book, a better god, there is no way that the god people use now is all powerful/knowing/loving… Religion/God is flawed, because it’s creators (humans) are flawed.
What would happen if we get down on our knees and pray to God in this way:
Dear God, almighty, all-powerful, all-loving creator of the universe, we pray to you to cure every case of cancer on this planet tonight. I think hip hop is alot like religion and politics cause people only listen to the words. They dont FEEL the overall message , people breakdown each verse but they dont see the big picture that all 3 verses are saying. Even if the lyrics are bad , what is the vibe of the song telling you? Hip hop also divides us because my artists are better then yours but the underlined message in hip hop is lets all come together and just see we have more things in common then we do things that divide us. If your christian , muslim , or anything else. Stop hangin on every verse , what is the overall message ? As far as God and science , everybody will have a moment in life where they believe in God or call out for him. Whether he think hes helping you or not , things in life go according to whats best for the universe. If your intentions are good , its all good. Science does not give you that magic feeling you get when you hear a classic song. Thats God you feel in the music not just an artists thoughts.

Ethnocentrism up in 2dopeboyz. The majority of the world isn’t Christian. (About a third is.) The majority of the world isn’t Mulsim (about a third is.) So, even if Christianity and Islam are focused on the same God, 2 billion people are wrong. Best case scenario, 2 billion people are wrong. If you believe either of your books by the letter, those 2 billion are hellbound.
Furthermore, if you grew up in Turkey, would you be Christian? No. You’d be Muslim. (I’m generalizing, but you get the point.)
If you grew up in Japan, you’d go to a Shinto shrine frequently and not believe in a singular God at all. Imagine how bad it would suck for you if everyone who didn’t believe in God went to hell.
My point is, make your decision. Stick with the religion you grew up with, or in some cases, stick with the religion you converted to. But apply common sense and knowledge to your beliefs.

Well nobody knows, so people just attempt to explain via God. Same with the sun & moon & things of that nature. My belief as an atheist is that it’s stupid to assume that just because man can’t explain it doesn’t necessarily mean that a “god” must have done something to make it happen. Hell I can write anything I want on the internet & just because it’s written down doesn’t necessarily mean it’s true or has any basis or merit.
