    reminds me why Nas is one of the greatest, damien killed it with a GOAT. and the video is like power, the style is similar, this just is in my opinion an even greater inspiration. so much “black history” gems in this video. They need to talk about it n speak on all the statues, and the meanings in the video.

  40. The POWER video clearly inspired this. This video was directed by Nabil who has directed for Kanye before and even made a photography book about ‘Ye.

    The multiple layers, ancient and royal imagery, use of slow motion and animation techniques to make the vid all parallel with POWER.

    Marco Brambilla deserves credit for inspiring this great, great video, Kanye deserves the credit for introducing this type of video to Hiphop,Nabil deserves credit for taking inspiration and making something truly great. End of.
