When the 2011 NBA All-Star starters were announced, there was a missing spot on the Western Conference as Yao Ming got voted in for no damn reason. A week later, the reserves were listed and many folks (myself included) thought Kevin Love got snubbed. Well, now that’s not the case as David Stern has added Mr. 30/30 to the roster. The choice as to who will actually start is up to Greg Popovich though. Thoughts?

Anybody who can put up a 30/30 deserves a spot. Lamarcus is killin right now but loves numbers are better. The last thing an Allstar bid should depend on is how your teams doing. it shoud be all about your individual numbers and 21/15.5/2.5 dont lie

I love how people are just starting to notice how talented this dude is. He was doing the same shit last season. He just didn’t get the coverage like this year. He should be a returning all star and he should be starting no questions asked. I hope he can get outta Minnesota soon.

First off, the fans do not deserve to vote anymore, if they’re gonna vote in somebody who played 5 games then you have no choice but to realize they’re not voting based on the current season’s play and just the popularity of the name. Second, Tim Duncan should not have made it, dude’s still got game at his ripe old age but he has not played like an All-Star this season. Third, Kevin Love and Blake Griffin deserved to make it and if anyone says differently they’re just hatin on the white’s (even tho Blake’s half), K Love had the first 30/30 game since Moses Malone and that performance alone is deserving an All-Star spot but fourth and lastly, LaMarcus Aldridge should have made it instead of Duncan and I’ll go as far to say Pau Gasol too, after Brandon Roy went down he’s single-handedly kept his team in the playoff race and has averaged 21 pts and almost a double double so for him to be snubbed was a travesty…still excited as fuck my mans STAT is gonna be startin for the East and representin New York in the All-Star game for the 1st time since Patrick fucking Ewing…now back to music where the fuck is this Soul Controller mixtape? ALLSTAR selection is a “INDIVIDUAL” award…not a team award…Kevin deserves to be there…and Aldridge..but i would have chosen Love over LA…21 and 15 on a sucky team is not a easy feet at all!!..

The Entire Timberwolves roster isn’t going. K Love is feasting in spite of his terrible team. Whereas in San Antonio, a tim duncan can benefit from having good players around him, Love has managed to do well without any supporting cast. He deserves the spot, He should have been voted in the 1st time if voters were smart. I do feel bad for Aldridge & Elli, they deserved some sort of recognition

1st…Take off Pau Gasol and add Lamar Odom. He deserves a spot after 12 years, and Pau ain’t playin well as of late,
2nd…Take off Timmyyyyy and add LaMarcus Aldridge. I knew he was good but damn, without B. Roy its basically been only him in Portland with Andre and Wes Matthews as viable compliment players.
3rd…I know how great D. Will is, but he’s been hurt as of late and that wrist still isnt 100%. Plus Monta has been showin out this season with basically a two shooting-guard backcourt. And while I think Steph is gettin most of the touches, Monta makes the most out of his PT…so i;m cool wit Williams, but if it was Monta i’d be cool.
