12. @james are you serious? Quik has been around with underground tapes since 85′ 86′ Thats the exact same time Dre had hit the scene with NWA and the Posse. Also World Class Wrecking Cru was in 84′ so you could say he was a YEAR before Quik so get your shit straight. Dre is one of my favorites but i believe Quik is the better producer, he’s always been consistent. also use #spellcheck its Quik.

19. New Quik? I had no idea. As for the back and forth of who’s better, let’s just say their both West Coast Vets, and both have skills.

    Both have quality beats.. But with Quik, it’s not always just some 5 second loop with a few extra drums. If you listen to Quik’s music, you understand what I mean… His beats are ‘composed’..

    I hope he’s got some of his old friends on here. I’ve heard on\off rumours about weather or not he still f*cks with some of them – Hi-C, Playa Hamm, Second II None, Suga Free… I’d love to see some other old G-funkers on the album – Snoop, Warren G, Mista Grimm… Nate Dogg ?? Maybe Quik has some pre-recorded hooks from him before his unfortunate health issues?

    Really looking forward to 4/20, if that is when this is going to drop!
