It’s obvious Wiz has become the new Lil Wayne. Everyone loved him after a great mixtape and then was flooded with non-stop hate. Curren$y will soon suffer the same fate.

Curren$y is killin’ it on Rocafella. Dame Dash picks good ass artist but Wiz is fallin’ off. Young Roddy, Curren$y, and Trademark Da Skydiver >>>>>>>>>> Wiz

Haha, that’s so true, he needs to expand his music and make different kind of songs than songs about weed and partying and how rich he is.
But honestly, his mixtape shit was way better than this and Roll Up.

both used to have lyrically good songs with sick ass beats. now they just some dope beats and hooks. lyrics = -10
boo said this on January 30th, 2011 at 2:11 pm
you guys are deluding yourselves. point me to ONE dope Wiz Khalifa lyric from his entire career. I’m serious, he could never rap. he was just kind of unique.
find one Wiz Khalifa verse that you would say was dope lyrically the same way you could say a guy like K.R.I.T. or J. Cole is dope.
that Too Short verse is straight awful also, and I like Short Do, but I don’t want him roofy-ing and fucking my girlfriend. Old fuck.

We also know he’s got a unique sound and a cool image.
Of all the mainstream acts to hate on, why Wiz?
red said this on January 30th, 2011 at 2:30 pm
@ The Goat
I agree with you that Wiz isn’t and never has been lyrical. I personally like Big KRIT and J. Cole better, but for me, I don’t always like to listen to lyrical music tho. Wiz’s music is just chill music to zone out to. That’s his style, he doesn’t claim to be the best rapper alive (pause, lil wayne?), he knows his lyrics aren’t top notch, he just does him.

Curren$y just signed to a major. Now don’t you feel stupid?
$pitta said this on January 30th, 2011 at 3:06 pm
When a artist is Independent , they make music for a small demographic of people. When a artist is signed to a major , they make music for the world so they dont have to be watered down any BUT they will make more universal music. Its smart business just accept it but they still could keep they singles like they were when they were independent though but dont expect them to still use the same slang from your little hood when they have to compete with artist from all over the world.
marty mcfly said this on January 30th, 2011 at 3:16 pm
Um… no he didnt. Curren$y is still on DD172, which is Dame Dash’s vanity label, and an imprint under Def Jam. Same place hes been for almost a year.
Now dont you feel stupid?
@$pitta said this on January 30th, 2011 at 3:23 pm
He signed a deal with Warner, whether it is just a distribution deal is yet to be seen, so it’s 50/50.
Input said this on January 30th, 2011 at 4:45 pm
currensy on a major label now all u dick riding niggas can shut tha fuck up dey both sold out
truth said this on January 30th, 2011 at 5:30 pm
Wanting nation wide distribution ( which is the only thing warner is good for also their relationship with BET ) is not selling out , its just smart business. Currensy still has to do most of the work. If Currensy didnt sell out as you call it then Pilot talk 1 & 2 would only exist as free downloads and not hard copies and his career would be in bad shape.
marty mcfly said this on January 30th, 2011 at 5:44 pm
If its just a distribution deal, then Warner wont have any creative control, so its not even close to selling out. A distribution deal is not the same thing as signing to a major label, it just gets your shit into more stores. Which, if u all remember, was the biggest problem he had with Pilot Talk 1 and 2.

I’m a Wiz Fan.. I’ve Been One Ever Since Prince Of The City One.. This New Stuff That He Has Out DISAPPOINTS ME AS A FAN.. I Mean Black And Yellow Was Cool.. But Stoned, Big Screen, Roll Up And Now This Come On Dude HAS FALLEN OFF.. Too $hort Is WACK On This Song.. Yea He Is A West Coast Legend But HE DIDN’T DO HIS THING On This Song At All.. Wiz Can Go Hard (No Homo) On Tracks, But This One Sounds Like He Just Got High And Said F It.. Word Up If You Are A REAL Wiz Fan You Wouldnt Support This BULLSH*T.. Kush & OJ Set The Bar HIGH AS HELL.. And It Seems Like Wiz Don’t Know What To Do.. On Some Real Sh*t I Might Have To Treat Wiz’s Album Like A Mixtape And DOWNALOAD That Joint For FREE.. Cause Right Now He Hasn’t Release SH*t That Has Made Me Want To Spend My Hard Earned Money For It.. And Thats Real Talk.. Coming From A Fan..

I swear to God you rap fans are confused. Wiz sounds and raps exactly the same as he did in his Star Power and Prince of the City 2 days. On My Level is sounds no different than Goddamn Love it or Poppin Rubberbands. I swear yall will support a rapper when no one knows him but as soon as he blows hes fallen off. Dude raps literally with the same style that made him popular. give it a rest.
Krow said this on February 1st, 2011 at 12:32 am
and for goodness sake, not every rapper has to follow the same formula of being a deep versatile rapper. Hip hop is expressing ur personality, not everyone is deep. nigga likes to smoke weed, get drunk, and fuck bitches, so what thats all he raps about. When u want to listen to deep stuff bump someone else, thats what i do it works fine for me
Krow said this on February 1st, 2011 at 12:37 am
ahahah whoever fucking said “show me a verse that compares him lyrically to KRIT or J.Cole” is a fucking idiot…. it’s obvious that wiz is not a lyricist…..he is all about weed rap, partying and fucking bitches…. so please go get hit by a bus.
