Vizzy first mixtape sample the Smashing Pumpkins as well with the song 1997, a play on 1979. Vizzy has been out almost exactly 10 years now. It’s just his songs use to be about comic books, being young, and partying things that were a no before the hipster movement. Also CH has sampled Smashing Pumpkins. It is just the hipster movement.

XV always gets alot of love on blogs that i visit. maybe ur just speaking for yourself. if you listened to him on your own will rather than waiting for j cole to sign off on him then you would know xv has been dope. check the last few releases he has up here and you’ll see. he killed dark fantasy freestyle and made HAM sound like it shouldve been his song. not to mention every mixtape he’s made since everybody’s nobody has been straight fire.

j. cole stans need to stop being followers and give good music a try. XV has been here and isn’t going anywhere anytime soon so you might as well check his stuff out that’s all im sayin

Cole’s fans are stans. like he cant do wrong. friday night lights was overproduced and overwritten and was nowhere near as good as what he brought on the warm up but people acted like it was truly amazing no matter wat. but when u look at the end of the year list friday night lights was barely making the top 5. j cole’s fans are the meaning of a stan, that is all.

FNL was not overproduced, but the production was relatively similar on many tracks, which got a bit repetitive toward the end. Overwritten? I dont even know what that means, but if youre trying to say his lyrics didnt sound like a Retard trying to freestyle, then I guess we can agree, although I see that as a good thing. But his song construction and production abilities were SO much better on FNL, and for a mixtape of early leaks and album cuts, it was pretty crazy.
