NBA All-Star Starters Announced

While Amare Stoudemire, LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Derrick Rose & Dwight Howard are starting for the East; Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul and Yao Ming whoever David Stern chooses to start at center are up for the West (way to go fans). With the reserves being announced next Thursday, who do you think should make each conference?

  18. Obviously Rondo, D. Williams, Westbrook (don’t sleep) and MAYBE Blake Griffin and Kevin Love. The thing people don’t understand is that those two play on terrible teams. If Tim Duncan played on the TWolves his numbers would probably look a lot better. KG too. That is why his numbers went down when he went to Boston.     All four Celtics deserve the reserve status along with Horford. Blake Griffin should be a reserve for the west, the kid deserves it. Then Eric Gordon and Russell Westbrook too for guards.

    Blake Griffin, Kevin Love, Lamarcuz Aldrige, Deron Williams, Russel Westbrook and David West deserve it too
    which shows why there’s more all-star snubs on the west because since the East has about 5 good teams and the rest are mediocre it’s easy to pick 5 starters and 7 reserves
    but on the west every team has at least one if not a couple good players that make their team competitive
    because even if the wolves have won only about 10 games this season the fact that they have such a presence like K-Love gives them a chance to win every night however small

  49. @Anyone who thinks Derrick Rose is best PG, Chris Paul and Rondo beat him in almost every stat. And most of the stats Rondo is losing in he is only 2 PGs below because he has 10 less games. Sorry Rondo is best PG but Derrick Rose is one of the best.

    KG, Rondo, Allen, Pierce, Felton, Horford, Johnson.
    Celtics choices are obvious. Felton is strong and w/o him Knicks aren’t as good as now or potentially to be. Hawks are a real quiet 4 Johnson and Horfrod both been solid.
    Outside picks are Bosh (18pts and 8 reb) but inconsistent and Boozer who averages a double double but only played a little over 25 games due to injury.

    In The West…. (assuming that Pau replaces Yao)
    Ginobili Westbrook Griffin Love Duncan Williams Nowitzki
    ginobili and timmy just cause of how great spurs have been. Duncan’s numbers are down but yet still near a double double has a +20 efficiency and his leadership and presence does alot…and best record. Manu is MVP candidate. Griffin and Love….self explanatory, Westbrook has been the backbone to Thunder, Durant is star, westbrook is glue, D Will is takin this Jazz team far, and Dirk because of his production before recent injury and Mavs record.

    Outside Picks: Monta Ellis stats are nice record not much Ellis < Will, Ginobili, Westbook for impact this season. Aldridge deserves a nod and MAY just maybe get the nod over Tim Duncan…i doubt it highly tho. Rudy Gay is keeping Grizz in playoff talks, David West, Al Jefferson both come up short.
