This mixtape isn’t bad, but a lot of that comes down to the simple fact that dude is a straight biter. Shit sounds like everybody else. There’s no such thing as a Game sound, or flow, or style. Anytime I enjoy a Game song it still feels like a guilty pleasure. It might not even be a bad song, but the shit isn’t genuine. It has limited integrity. It’s not even a matter of bringing his personal life into it, like with Rick Ross. There just isn’t an original bone in his body. and I’m not even talking about his inability to stop name-dropping. To make matters worse he’s a straight dickrider. Yeah, he reached out to legends like KRS and Kane, but the song is just trash. I mean, I get that it’s a two way street; these guys are trying to stay relevant, and he’s trying to show his depth as some kind of historian. But I don’t buy for one second that Game actually gave a shit about their music like that. But he knows Nas does. And he knows Jay does. Ang god knows how much he wants to impress those guys. And to further emphasize his ignorance to actual hip hop history, he does yet another interpolation of Children’s Story, which Nas, Mos Def and a lot of other dudes have already done about 10 times better. But he doesn’t get simple things like that. You don’t even have to know the dude to know he’s an ass kisser. But this generation of listeners doesn’t seem to give too much of a shit about things like integrity, authenticity, and originality. Which is why frauds like Ross and Game continue to do well in the industry.

@George Clooney , The stuff your saying is not the 1st time ive heard it so im not even trippen BUT Games flow is a one of one , its very hard to hear what makes his flow different and im not gonna give out all his techniques but his flow is a step above most Mcs. The name dropping is a gift and a curse , most rhyme schemes have a pro and a con. Every type of flow has a flaw in it somewhere , cause dropping names can start to sound redundant but Game puts that in his flow to make it almost impossible to copy because other rappers aint on the same level to drop names like the ones he drops and if they are they would be afraid to do so. You dont hear authenticity , I dont know why but I can say that Games word connect most of the time. When a rapper is lying usually they words bounce around from topic to topic and then come back to a punchline. Games flow most times makes sense from 1st verse to last. His voice is alot like Nas and Shyne but there are other things in the flow that make it a little better , Notice how he has never rhymed off beat. Lets use Jadakiss who is one of the best right , he got a dope flow but his flow is stiff it doesnt bend or speed up and slow down. Like Jayz , Game has learned when to pick up speed in his flow and when to slow down to stay in pocket. His flow also is flexible to beats and change forms even if he raps in front of the beat or behind it. You also compare Ross to Game but if you know Games history in the streets ( his story came on dvd on his 1st album) you know he aint a cop like Ross. Before his 1st album he took a bullet threw the heart and thats just a piece of his drama in the streets. Im not sayin he is Al Capone but he bangs Ceder block Piru and has had to cover up his tear drop tat with a butterfly then a red star and the LA letters. But all dumb shit aside his flow has things in it that make him a dope MC. Just some things about flows I wanted to put out there , that is all.

He’s got a ridiculous amount of talent around him, but he still makes 2006 music, and it’s not that he didn’t adapt to hip-hop in 2010, it’s the fact that there was never really any diversity in the nature of his tracks. Either it was super-hardbody gangster song, remorseful gangster song or in the club, fucking your girl gangster song.
So even if you give him Dr. Dre, The RZA and Nottz beats, Busta Rhymes, Big Daddy Kane and KRS-One features, it’s just going to be trimmings on another shitty Game song. Shit gets monotonous.
I think people just want a artist to be perfect. Even when you try to dis the Game you still named 4 different types of songs he can do. You need more?
