I mean has talked about materialistic stuff I mean who doesnt. But he always had songs that brought shit back to reality. I mean Comeback Season is still my favorite Drake project still to this day. I mean Comeback Season Freestyle, Share, Closer, Think Good Thoughts. I mean even on his first mixtape “Room For Improvment” had the Kick Push freestyle he did and it kept up with Lupe’s verses.

    So anybody who think he’s whack I understand why, but when Drake talks about something meanful he can really make a great song out of it. I wish he wasnt doing the whole materialistic route eithe. But he still has alot of career left. So Im just hoping his second album will be that Comeback Season Drake we all know and love.

    Don’t get me wrong, this interview has me a little giddy, cause to this day The Calm is still my favorite Drake song.
    And to this day, So Far Gone is still one of my favorite mixtapes, and you can’t argue that the majority of the songs on Thank me Later is what good fucking music should sound like (Show me a good time? That shit bumps)
    And the MTV documentary of him just before Thank Me Later dropped? That shit is one of the best made documentaries I’ve ever watched.

    But fuck, dude needs to chill out with all these guest features on songs, because frankly; they’re not good, and I feel like that’s what causing a lot of hate on the man.
    Take a note from Lupe Fiasco.
    While that dude tripped over a lot of stuff, he made a some sense in saying that ‘mixtape after mixtape and single after single’ [Or something to that effect] lessens your appeal as an artist. People get tired of you.
    And there is a little bit of truth in that.
