Agreed. He did what he wanted to do, can’t hate him for that. Only a few real rappers left who can stay away from the glittery shine and stay on their grind. And no doubt if they finally get the success they deserve it’s much more sweeter.
I love this , i lov e my b oyfriend, he is a nice guy !.

I’m really happy for B.o.B., I’ve never seen an artist sellout as fully as this fool did. He went from being a promising conscious rapper, to a bubblegum pop joke. This nigga has to be one of the prime examples of everything that’s wrong with the hip-hop music industry. Good thing record labels are going to be gone in 5-10 years, so we don’t have to witness any other promising artists lose their way and sell their souls to the devil.
Is everyone in the world except me severly fucking retarded?
he’s sick, we all admit that…but just cos he got a little fame he’s suddenly “sold out” or if his music sounds a little different. Doesn’t make no sense at all, he was doing most genres before and is doing the same now and doing it better. so STFU.
I think it’s awesome that B.o.B. has gotten so big. His album was pop I thought it sounded good and the message was still there.
On top of that he just released that No Genre mixtape which is one of the better mixtapes of 2010.
it aint the fame that gives you the sell-out feelin, its his album that does…. it was clearly made for an audeience (just like nicki minajs album)… his album wasnt terrible (nickis was), but still clearly on the sell-out tip…
but on another note, no genre was good… i liked that shit alot more than his album….
but just like many said, good for him for gettin success… he deserves it as much as the next starvin artist that got talent, nah meen!?
He’s definitely a pop hip-hopper now. I did like most of his latest album, but it did catch me off guard in terms of how non-organic it sounds. Kanye’s music sounds more organic than this dude.
YOU want his music to sound organic? why dont you go live on a fucking farm. Good music, is good music no matter if it’s party music, hardcore rap, singing, rock, pop whatever…
B.o.B definitely didn’t “go” pop. He was already “pop”. “Pop” isn’t a bad thing in my opinion. This means marketable songs, with melody and the interpolation of other genres. That’s eclectic to me, and more power to it if it becomes POPular. B.o.B is the PERFECT example of what hip-hop right now should be. There is no reason for talented artists to be unknown forever, and credit that to “staying true”. People are going to hate regardless. I guarantee is “Airplanes” was a song on one of his mixtapes, with an equally talented, but way less famous rock singer, a bunch of these people screaming “sell-out” would love the song and be saying “Now this is what should be on the radio!”. B.o.B didn’t sell out, and frankly, you don’t dislike his music by itself. You have programmed yourself to simply dislike anything that get popular and becomes a part of the mainstream. It’s like rights of passage to being a “real” head or a backpacker or some sort of B.S like that. It’s pretty stupid if you ask me. Of course, there is “Pop” music out that is complete trash and cookie-cutter garbage, but here and there, there ARE some real artists with REAL music, that get to slip through the cracks, and still be themselves and make GOOD music, while also becoming very popular. You should be happy for this type of breakthrough and advancement, instead of hating on it and putting this man down…
so proud
he deserve it
my opinion the album was wack but congrats on all the fame and notoriety he is gettin at the moment hard work pays off
*salutes*
he went pop
i aint glad at ya…but i aint mad at ya

B.O.B. is a huge sellout and completely fake and generic

Thank you, your idea is very great! i love it!

Will never gain acceptance. His music is geared towards a mainstream audience and holds no intrinsic value. Doubt he’ll be around for much longer
Good for him, I’m glad he’s achieved success

I remember I caught B.o.B, Cudi, and Asher in ATL for $30 back on The Great Hangover Tour. Good luck ever catching some shit like that again.
