I’ll be honest: Wale sounds a lot more comfortable over slow, bouncy Southern instrumentals than anything else. While in Denver, he performed his verse of his collaboration with Fozzie Bear and the Junkyard Gang.

Yeah exactly man I said the exact same thing while I was listening to this earlier. I rarely bump dude’s music but I actually think his verse is the best one on the song.
Thanks for that shocking honesty.
Yeah, Wale a real homo.
Wale sounds a lot more comfortable over slow, bouncy Southern instrumentals than anything else.
^^^^^
Agreed
And there is nothing wrong with that
I agree that he sounds comfortable, but I think the BKS/Wale combo is even better.
he’s great on south shit, make it,rain,no hands, play ur part, the other ross song,an he still keeps his lyrics
Wale is best on conscious hip-hop without any features, just him and a decent story to tell.. not down with his foray into pop music tbh..
usally i go for songs from like waka cuz he has hard beats but this song i looked out for wale cuz he some sick ass verse he should go get more southern beats also on
There’s gona be 808z fast hihats and snare rolls all over his next album stamped
its true tho. not that many ppl were checkin for wale b4, but eva since he’s been on more of these southern type beats, ppl fuck wit him, just look at the crowd reaction from this vid.
and for the most part he’s still spittin dope lyrics, he tore up that pandemonium beat. i think this yr he’s gonna make some serious moves
this nigga got beasted by roscoe dash. enough said.
WTF yall smoking? His verse was wack as fuck man.
Wale is one of my favorite artist but his verse on this song is pretty weak compared the majority of his work. I hope 2011 is a big year for Wale cause he’s one of the few lyrical sort of conscious young mcs out there.
Thank you all for watching….

IMO he’s sounds best over BKS production. He went in on No Hands too though.
