This man Statik’s work ethic is second to none. In 2009, he and Saigon brought us All In A Day’s Work. A week ago, he and Termanology gave us The Evening News. Now Statik and Free revealed to XXL that they will be putting together a project next week.
Statik hit me with the idea last night (Jan. 5). And I got back at him this morning and it’s a go. We came up with the name and everything this morning. – Freeway
This Monday (Jan. 10), Statik and Free will set up shop at the ShowOff Basement and record a 6-7 track EP that will be available on iTunes the next day. And just like The Evening News, the recording process will be broadcasted live on XXL’s official Ustream page (at 5pm).
I’m just gonna run through beats and we’re just gonna let the listeners get involved and come up with a hook or a concept for songs and help pick the beats for Free to rap too. – Statik Selektah

Off topic, but there’s a new Mike Jaggerr track with Big K.R.I.T.
Shit’s pretty cool. Called “Cruise Control”.
I’m not gonna link it, just suggesting it.

What will they be wearing, and do you think they need a stylist to be on camera? I like doing mens styling.

I like hearing about work ethic producing music when most people have to work a 9-5, 5 days a week.
If I had a job as a producer and CD host I’d be prolific as fuck!

Am I the only one that thinks Statik is crazy overrated??? Dudes beats are so flat and boring. Why is he on the blogs every damn day?
