Kendrick Lamar isn’t wack but he is VERY overrated. The dude’s voice is very irritating to listen to for a period of time. To me he sounds like a more lyrical Lil Wayne and that’s not saying much. Some people are making him out to be “that dude” and that’s crazy to me. The only reason why he is “hot” right now is cause Dre co-signed him. If you take off your blindfold you would realize that was a political move, not cause Kendrick is dope. Dre has said in recent interviews he is trying to work with younger west coast artist to bring the West back up. That is the only reason why Dre co-signed him cause he is desperate to get Cali back on the map. Before Dre co-signed him Kendrick got like 20 comments per post and half of them were the same ppl. Like I said he isn’t wack but he is not above average either.

Kendrick being compared to wayne is laughable. When Is the last time you heard Wayne make an actual song you with a concept all verses being related to that concept. I think most people who dislike Kendrick haven’t listen to either of his mixtapes. Probably only listen to his monster freestyle and look out for Detox which I think are dope but his mixtapes are Classic. Another thing Dre would not co-sign someone who is not dope. Dre doesn’t need to prove anything to anyone. He’s done it all.
