Alright, I’m going to hate, and give the reasons why I’m hating. This is a Yung Fyre beat, so I was expecting fire. I’m not feeling this track at all. Like this beat compared to that insane beat he did for T-Pain’s “Motivation.” I do respect him for being able to switch the style up, unlike Lex Luger. But yeah, not really feeling the beat. Also, I just can’t stand Rick Ross. Sounds like he’s got that “I can’t get off the couch I’m so lazy” flow. Dude needs to retire. He sounds washed up. I think Wiz is gonna have a huge problem going from making a dope mixtape to making a real album and the fans aren’t gonna want to pay for something that sounds JUST like Kush & Orange Juice, they want that extra that motivates them to spend the money.
@Billy Clint, All The Money in the World and Tears of Joy are definitely substantive songs but I’m not sure Free Mason REALLY is. It’s an incredible song, but I think a large part of it is just really good braggadocio, Ross’ verse, the hook and John Legend’s parts are at least.
