  1. J Cole one boring mf

  2. dunno bout ILLMATIC of this generation

Cmon MEKA, WTF r u going on about, ILLMATIC of this generation, are you on fukcing drugs… you REALLY thing he compares to NAS

    KILL URSELF

  3. @ t-dot j cole said that in the video

  4. lol @T-dot, to me he’s better then Nas. ppl gotta understand that the best cant be the best forever. thats like saying Tom Brady isnt better then Joe Montana. Records are meant to be broken. someone is gunna come along and be better then the ones before them.

  5. J cole better than nas lmao J coles albums not gonna be the next illmatic or the next college drop out its gonna be j coles debut album and it will probably be really good im a big cole fan but yall need to stop dickridin

  6. J Cole better than nas? smack yourself, please. there will never be another illmatic, especially of this generation. and socially conscious? more or less..

  7. lol. this nigga is going out in 2010 still with these BS interviews. drop the fuckin’ album already and quit it with the repetitive Q & A interviews. A. HOLE YOU FAILED MISERABLY IN 2010!

  8. J. Cole makes great music. Just sit back and enjoy.

  9. One of the most boring and overrated rapper to come out in awhile.

  10. see i dont understand how you can say he’s a boring overrated rapper? if j cole is overrated then who the fuck is good to you? i’m not saying his album is the NEXT illmatic. im just saying j cole is probobly a better rapper then Nas. there will never be another album like illmatic. but i bet we’ll look back at cole’s album and say wow there will never be another _____.

  11. Cole’s hater amount went up once he dropped Friday Night Lights, because it’s raised his profile a little bit. It’s gonna get even worse if he drops a hit single, and the album sales. People telling him to drop the fucking album, as if he’s in control of that. Niggas saying he sucks are fucking dead. If J. Cole sucks, then artist like Nas & Jay must be average.

  12. J cole is nice.but stop polluting the GOAT’s name like that.geeeez!

  13. @jhunt sf true.

  14. I’ve been following Cole before most of u bandwagoners and let me say this

J Cole will NEVER EVER be as good Nas is. This guy is so overlooked, there’s a fucking book about his album alone. The man is a genius, no dickriding but there’s so much to what he says. Go listen to Illmatic,It Was Written,Lost Tapes,Stillmatic etc..read the lyrics, he’s on some genius shit.

  15. One for the money
Two for pussy and foreign cars
Three for Alize niggas deceased or behind bars
I rap divine Gods check the prognosis, is it real or showbiz?
My window faces shootouts, drug overdoses
Live amongst no roses, only the drama, for real
A nickel-plate is my fate, my medicine is the ganja
Here’s my basis, my razor embraces, many faces
Your telephone blowing, black stitches or fat shoelaces
Peoples are petrol, dramatic automatic four-four I let blow
and back down po-po when I’m vexed so
my pen taps the paper then my brain’s blank
I see dark streets, hustling brothers who keep the same rank
Pumping for something, some uprise, plus some fail
Judges hanging niggas, uncorrect bails, for direct sales
My intellect prevails from a hanging cross with nails
I reinforce the frail, with lyrics that’s real
Word to Christ, a disciple of streets, trifle on beats
I decipher prophecies through a mic and say peace.
I hung around the older crews while they sling smack to dingbats
They spoke of Fat Cat, that nigga’s name made bell rings, black
Some fiends scream, about Supreme Team, a Jamaica Queens thing
Uptown was Alpo, son, heard he was kingpin, yo
Fuck “rap is real”, watch the herbs stand still
Never talking to snakes ’cause the words of man kill
True in the game, as long as blood is blue in my veins
I pour my Heineken brew to my deceased crew on memory lane

  16. @PhrayzerMusic How can you say he’s better than Nas after 3 mixtapes? STFU.

@jhuntdaprodigy His hater amout didn’t go up, but his dickriding amount shot up over the past few months. Dickriders like that nigga saying Cole’s better than Nas & Cole’s the best rapper alive after listening to him for a few months make non-fans not even wanna give him a chance. It’s the exact same thing for Lupe Fiasco tho.

  17. niggas talk too much shit. you shit out your ass not your mouth, fucking haters.

  18. Lmao I think meka put illmatic to piss yall off

That shit was funny, yall are fucking upset lmao

  19. J. Cole’s dope, but he’s not better than Nas. Nas has too much classic material. To even try to measure up to Nas, you’re talking about not only lyrics but great content. I think J. Cole still has a ways to go as far as content. I would say J. Cole is in the top tier of the most recent rappers.

  20. I’m happy to see that alot of the comments also blast the idea of J.Cole being anything but just another bland MC in today’s hip hop. Surprised herb ass Meka didn’t slight Nasir like he usually does.

If J.Cole is in the top tier of the most recent rappers then the bar is really low nowadays. J.Cole tries way too hard. He way too pretentious — there’s nothing organic about him.

  21. Alot of people overrate the past man, Cole better then Nas.. no. Does he have the potential to be? Yes. Everyone starts somewhere. Shout out to the past’s dick riders.

  22. lol gtfo..Nas’ debut verse > J Cole’s career

Street’s disciple my raps are trifle

I shoot slugs from my brain just like a rifle

Stampede the stage I leave the microphone split

Play Mr. Tuffy while I’m on some Pretty Tone shit

    Verbal assassin my architect pleases

When I was twelve, I went to hell for snuffin Jesus

Nasty Nas is a rebel to America

    Police murderer, I’m causin hysteria

My troops roll up with a strange force

I was trapped in a cage and let out by the Main Source

Swimmin in women like a lifeguard

Put on a bulletproof nigga I strike hard

Kidnap the President’s wife without a plan

And hangin niggaz like the Ku Klux Klan

I melt mics till the sound waves over

Before steppin to me you’d rather step to Jehovah

    Slammin MC’s on cement

Cause verbally, I’m iller than a AIDS patient

    I move swift and uplift

your mind shoot the gift when I riff in rhyme

    Rappin sniper, speakin real words

My thoughts react, like Steven Spielberg’s

    Poetry attacks, paragraphs punch hard

My brain is insane, I’m out to lunch God

Science is dropped, my raps are toxic

My voicebox locks and excels like a rocket

  23. Real Talk it aint to many artist who can match that verse and its from the early nineties. J cole is dope and there are other artist who are dope but verses like these is what make an mc a legend.

  24. Remember when ya’ll would barely post Cole shit.. hangin from his didick now

  25. [Nas]
Yo; I never brag, how real I keep it, cause it’s the best secret
I rock a vest, prestigious, Cuban link flooded Jesus
in a Lex watchin Kathie Lee and Regis
My actions are one with the seasons
A tec squeezin – executioner, winter time I rock a fur
    Mega popular, center of attraction
Climaxin, my bitches they be laughin
They high from sniffin coke off a twenty-cent Andrew Jackson
City lights spark a New York night
Rossi and Martini sippin, Sergio Tachinni flippin mad pies
low price, I blow dice and throw em
Forty-five by my scrotum, manifest the “Do or Die” slogan
My niggaz roll in ten M3′s
Twenty Gods poppin wheelies on Kawasaki’s
Hip-Hop’s got me on some ol’, sprayin shots like a drumroll
Blankin out and never miscount the shells my gun hold
    I don’t stunt, I regulate
Henny and Sprite, I seperate, watchin crab niggaz marinate
I’m all about tecs and good jooks and sex
Israelite books, holdin government names from Ness
MC’s are crawlin out, every hole in the slum
You be aight like blood money in a pimp’s cum

  26. ^ THATS THAT SHIT!

  27. Currency is made in trust of the Messiah
I’m spending it to get higher
Earth, Wind, and Fire singing reasons why I’m
up early, trustworthy is a nine that bust early
Sunshine on my grill, I spill
Remi on imaginary graves, put my hat on my waves
Latter Day Saints say religious praise
I dolo, challenge any team or solo
You must be buggin out, new to my shit, home on a furlough
Ask around, who’s laid up, sharp and straight up
Mafioso, gettin niggaz wigs sprayed up
Skies are misty, my life’s predicted by a gypsy
I’ll one day walk into shots drunk off champange from Sicily
This be the drama, I’ma pause like a comma
    in a sentence, paragraph’s indented
Bloodshot red eyes, high, yellow envelopes of lye
    Openin cigars, let tobacco fly
Condos are tuneproof, we’re looking out the sky’s moonroof
Shittin like gin and prune juice
Yo the system wants the coon’s noose, hang em high
Courtrooms filled up, it’s off the hook while I
just wrote a statement, like I’m facing twenty years
in the basement – chilling on the via with Mumia
for wearin chrome – I told the judge snakes slither
like Sharon Stone, but like Capone I’m thrown (yo)

Ok im done. Both these verses , pure dopeness. If you know the 3rd verse its crazy too.

  28. A humble legend before mainstream success, nothing can stop J. Coles trajectory!

  29. the whole nas vs cole thing is weird, i bet j cole himself would say that he cannot come close to nas.
