I don’t really know what kind of song Curren$y would put out to blow up.
I just don’t see it. His lyrics, beats, subject matter…It’s all too specific.
Wiz Khalifa could blow up because he has so much energy, charisma, and a lot of teenagers/young adults can connect his his lyrics.
Curren$y has a lot of things going for him and I think his music is dope as fuck. But it’s not mainstream by any means necessary.
Let’s see what happens this year though. Curren$y has been getting much more attention from the blogs and music review sites, and after 2 solid releases maybe some music exec will put Spitta’s music on the radio.
