Apple Juice Kid – Frank Sinatra Remixed

After two successful projects, Miles Remixed and Louis Armstrong Remixed, Apple Juice Kid has teamed up with the DopeHouse and Battalion Armour to present to you Frank Sinatra Remixed. Tracklist and download link after the jump.

The Frank Sinatra Remixed EP was created as the soundtrack for Beautiful Warriors 3, an annual series of black & white fine art films directed by Tishaun Dawson of Battalion Armour. In it’s third season Beautiful Warriors takes you on a visual ride through the beauty of women from around the world in six short films that leave little to the imagination. This critically acclaimed experience mixes jazz and hiphop with fine art in a way that’s never been done before. Beautiful Warriors 3 launches December 21.

  6. ohh i love music, dont you?! this is just greatness! peace and 1love

  7. Ill. Both mixes have been fire, and the BW videos are elegant and sexy. This whole project gets my approval

  8. apple juice kid is dope, the first 2 mixtapes were a definate must hear, hope this is just as good

  9. Man this is straight garbage! Wow what a way to ruin classic, timeless music! Wow I can’t believe their would ever be a way to ruin frank sinatra and congrads my friend you just achieved it!

  10. worrrd, if any of yall are in NC on saturday night juice is DJing a dope show at Cats Cradle in Chapel Hill/Carrboro

  11. I agree with the above commented…This is wack. Straight trash.
Two huge thumbs down..Dean Martin could work this bitch anyday, anyway. He was a real crooner..

  12. ^ Smh @ you implying that Sinatra didn’t have the vocal capabilities of Dean Martin.

And this was a nice effort, but there are some things you just don’t attempt, and this was one of them. Face it, Sinatra and Hip-Hop doesn’t mesh. Same thing for swing music, overall.

  13. Please remix Jimi Hendrix…would be legendary

  14. ILL, i could def rock with this for a little bit. But how they not gonna do NEW YORK?? I would’ve really like to hear that.

  15. i had to come back n put my lil 2 cents back in.. as above i stated i though the miles davis and the louis armstrong mixtapes were dope, but i was pretty disapointed w this. its not garbo like ppl above me are saying but its def not on the same level as the first 2 mixtapes he put out

  16. player shit for the young age. bringing some classics back to life. it is what it is.

  17. I’m sorry, but this is terrible. Remixing is a talentless skill. Try composing music like Frank and his peers did, instead of shitting on his music like this.

This is just fucked up and awful.

  18. Got a lot of angry old farts commenting in this thread. Your opinion is important to us, tell us more!

  19. i dont know what these people are talking about, this album gives frank a new feel and is quite refreshing, i love the classics but these are great too! good work, keep it up
