what? where the confusing moments at?
ummmm wrong video? meka: dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb
This is my first time hearing he is dropping it on Christmas. I doubt.
^it was supposed 2 be christmas 2009
@KennyD learn how to read bro it says December 25th…of 2009.
Lmao didn’t see the 2009 wow
^i don’t even know how u missed that 2009 part. lol you better check your eyes out man!
also wrong vid Mek.
The last time Jay z was behind a lyrical jedi as executive producer , we got FOOD & LIQUOR. This is only the 2nd time Jay z has been around another mc with equal potential , ( J cole maybe , Beanie segal almost ). Jay Elecs wordplay is crazy and beat selection is dope. I wish I could be in the studio while these two are cookin up. I also want to point out that JE dominated the underground scene with only 2 songs. Exhibit C-08 , Exhibit A-09 , of course thats based on opinion. If you and feelin JE then you just dont like original style…
@KennyD yeah man you might wanna get your eyes checked.
Jay needs to stop throwin minute long speeches at the start of songs.
Don’t care how “deep” the shit is, I just wanna hear him rap.
I appreciate the sound bites Jay incorporates in his songs..
we forget he’s not just an emcee, he’s an artist, and his creative control matters..hell it aint like the shit be irrelevant
Nah I agree those intro’s are mad annoying. We get at this point that he is deep and has meaning in his songs. Just fucking rap man, we don’t need 2 minutes of a speech to ease us into the track.
the title is a little redundant…
On exhibit A he spit for 4mins and 30 sec. straight , and most of his songs is 48 bars plus. You people want him to cut off the speeches and rap longer ? Damn
REBEL, who said rap longer? I don’t see that anywhere. People just want him to cut out that pointless speeches from the beginning of his tracks, simple as that
I Dont get why people always want artists to be how the want em to be, like shit aint neva enuff, When its na one thing its the other, every positive comment droppin w/ a BUT!,.
…THEN YOU GOT NIGGAS WITH NO INTRO AND NO CONTENT. smh…..
JE IS THAT NIGGA!
MISLEADING TITLE…
jey elec is dope!
PATIENTLY waiting…
This post was the most confusing moment of my day
about JE’s 1 minute long speeches at the beginning of a track:
seriously, that’s a waste of time. 15 seconds should be enough of a sound bite. when you’re a minute into a mohandas ghandi speech about non-violence…most people just move to the next song.
If ya’ll hate it so much remove it from the audio your damn self and stop your bitching fucking faggots
MEKA CHANGE THE VIDEO NIGGA
title is confusing. props on the video. can’t wait for more jay
Jay-Z signed J. Cole & Jay Eelectronica cause he knows they’re gonna run the game over rappers in the media that suck.
Wrong vid meka
Another thing is if people support what ever his Radio songs are , he mite sell some records. If his fans mobilize the same way they did to get the LASERS album a release date. The game will be balanced again. When people supported CREAM , the WU-TANG single back in the day. Their album went platinum , and the majors saw that and started lookin for more substance in rap. Then we got Blackstar , Big Pun , DMX etc.. I hope his fans dont just wait for the album to drop. support whatever he markets to radio ,so we can steer this game in a new direction. JAY ELECs album must do well , no ifs ands or buts. This is a critical moment in hip hop , pay attention !!!
jay elec can’t have intros in his rap songs but kanye puts out an video based on a bird created from fire set with his album as the soundtrack and everybody jizzes in there pants. man we are all fucking stupid as hell. quite frankly i dont give a fuck what you think and you shouldn’t give a fuck what i think. we like different things get over it.
People should stop downloading albums and start buying them. That’s how we can make hiphop great again.
@thisguy
I hope comparing 2 completely unrelated musical decisions gets you far
maybe you people should actually listen to the speeches at the beginning of his tracks… you MIGHT actually learn something…
keep the audio inserts, cant imagine listening to those songs now without it.

^^^^ THIS!
I for one appeciate the theme and message behind each track JE drops. We are all patiently waiting for a complete project in 2011; whether it be a Mixtape or EP before Act II. I expect it will be an enjoyable as well as memorable experience as we are experiencing a true Hip-Hop atist in the making. JE has his loyal following and finally the right situation to create the music we are anticipating will be a Masterpiece. All good things come to those who wait.
@OhSyx im not comparing a video and song inserts im comparing how jay electronica makes a creative decision by putting sound clips in his songs, which has been done before but not often, and people are complaining because they just want the music and not the artist’s ideas or interpretations but it’s alright when kanye does things like that. i hope giving advice on 2dopeboyz isn’t the highlight of your day.

^^^^^ WHAT HE SAID! Seriously though, you guys are actually hating on Jay Electronica quoting Martin Luther the King!!! Ignorance is bliss until life forces wisdom on you.
@thisguy
So because people agree with Kanye’s creative decisions they should agree with all creative decisions?
That EP was actually originally “promised to us” on Christmas of ’07. I remember because I moved to Las Vegas in October of ’07 and it was around that time. It was all over okayplayer about this “Act II EP” (or whatever it was) with production from Madlib, 9th Wonder, Dilla, Just Blaze, etc. dropping on Christmas day. That was gonna BE MY CHRISTMAS that year! I’d been up on Jay since probably earlier that year & he’d had a little buzz even before that. Either way, I’ll be excited for whatever he puts out & whenever he decides to.
Who gives a fuck what MTV thinks,as long as Jay Electronica does what he does, mtv could jump off a tall building
Wasn’t JE suppose to be a “firestarter” for the past 3 years or something? Dude is an incredible lyricist, but he isnt about to “blow”. How about MTV try JE’s Roc Nation counterpart, J. Cole when they start talking about a rapper who is about to start a “fire”. Cole is definitely the next to make a major splash in the mainstream, because he can actually create a mainstream record w/ lyrical content
