    I listened to “Reggie” this mornin’ and I was a little disappointed. I mean it’s not like it’s bad, but for a Redman cd it’s just… disappointing. It might just have to grow on me

    Auto-tune, rapping about nothing, using of the Big Sean/Drake flow.

  10. This was definitely a disappointment for me. I can understand that Redman wants to grow as an artist and expand, but this is the direction he took? Naw man, Redman is better then THIS shit. Reggie was a total disappointment, I hope he doesn’t fuck up Muddy Waters 2…

  12. even if he wanted to sound like today’s shit– don’t lol. Red has been around a long time and has a dedicated fan base and a true hip-hop style. Do that- stick to the illest shit like Da Rockwilda.

    And on a side note, that beat is not a Redman beat. My throw-away beats would sound better with his voice than this.

  17. You can clearly see he’s fucking with the whole mainstream sound. Look at the way he ‘sings’ the chorus.. Obviously he’s dissing the whole mainstream thing..

    By the way, I didnt fully get what he had to say about the blueprint? It sounded like “That’s like not feeling the bluepring’ but I’m a bit high, and i’m doubting my level of attention right now.. Can anybody help me out? lol
