While out in France, Emilio Rojas sits down with the homegirl Lola (via iChat) to speak on his recently-released project, Life Without Shame.
There are a couple of issues that we talk about on the tape that people have kind of been tip-toeing around. We talk about immigration from a personal standpoint and from a storytelling standpoint. There are a lot of things on the tape that I feel people may be sensitive about but thats good. I left a lot of things open ended. I want people to walk away thinking about anything I talked about and arrive to their own conclusions. That way the message will be more powerful because it’s something you are led to instead of told.
