  1. damn this sucks… would have been a GREAT single for Cole to get him into the mainstream.

  2. Such a horrible rapper and I wouldn’t doubt if someone helped him write the song.

  3. If the nigga used a ghostwriter they need to be fired because these verses suck. I ain’t gon’ get over the fact, that Cole’s was better and could’ve been his breakthrough single. Imma be pissed off by that, until Cole get a mainstream hit. But only the lord knows when that will happen unfortunately…

  4. hooks good, rest is garbage. shoula been COLES

  5. i wish ppl stop selling music or sell it to good ppl that can acctualy can sing or rap…this song could have been one of the best songs out right now if it wasnt diddy on it

  6. this makes me so mad

  7. As long as good artists like J. Cole get the money they deserve until they get the fame, It’s all good by me. And as long as people know that “artists” like Diddy are only good for signing checks I’m fine with that too.

  8. i read jay-z ghostwroted this song. rumors are Jermaine is gonna perform wit diddy on snl.

  9. you guys are all idiots..first off this single is perfect for diddy..for 1)j cole is 26 and barely coming up..WTF does he have to go home to? He just likes going home for the holidays (all pun)
2)you guys need to stop being retards and sucking lyrical rappers up..songs could have simple lyrics but be meaningful..little kids draw finger paintings that are more meaningful than some masterpiece created by a 25 year old..simple isn’t always bad. that is all.

  10. oh and sick ass suburban cameo at the 2:40 mark..shits meaningful

  11. This nigga took Rihannas old style QUICK.

  12. diddys version sounds like he is playing DEFJAM RAPSTAR and is singing J.Coles version…

  13. Uhh Jav if you think this version is better than Cole’s (even with him writing his verses as Diddy) then you need to get your ears checked. #slapyourself

  14. Those bitches are ugly. Either way diddy is pop music. I’d like to hear anyone tell me differently.

  15. Horseshit

  16. Horrendous…
    J. Cole>>>>>>>>>

  17. YO JAV SHUT YO BITCH ASS UP. FUCK YOU TALKING ABOUT BITCH NIGGA?

  18. I’m a J. Cole Stan, but this song isn’t that fucking bad, y’all swear. I just can’t take Diddy seriously after Get Him To the Greek. I defended the cat, but that dude took a 60 feet jump over the shark, dude.

  19. Sounds like Rick Ross ghostwrote this for Diddy. U can just tell in his delivery and some lyrics.

  20. Alright, this song never “belonged” to cole. Diddy probably sent the track out to a few rapper and asked them to write for it, and then chose from those verses to record for himself. J. Cole never had the opportunity to make this his or to blow up with it so get off that. Also, when the fact that J. Cole did write for this song surfaced (aka sights like 2bz leaking the track) the chance that diddy would use his version went to shit and now j. cole has less bread. the end.

  21. Last train to Paris ? WTF… This nigga should have made – NO WAY OUT 2. Then ill get it , If this train is still goin to paris , ill be in Harlem. This fool been workin on this album for 5 years and this is what we get ? A j cole song…

  22. i think its funny that they made Cole do the demo but jay wrote the lyrics

  23. If anybody believes that jayz wrote these lyrics they are a moron. Seriously you people are gullible. Why do morons…I mean people beleive stupid ass rumors?

  24. He said “he hates the song tears of a clown cuz he thinks they are talking about him” well Puff…we are.

  25. Isn’t this just a weaker version of “All of the Above” by Maino?

  26. Which was just a knock-off of “Live Your Life” by T.I.?

  27. I herd Baby was posed 2 ghostwrote dis shit. Den he passed dat 2 Lil Twist n Twist hook diddy up wit dis here hot fiya.

  28. good radio music, thats about it, i wont complain when this comes on

  29. Oouh ! Without J. Cole… This sound iz sooooooooooooo Commercial, Radio Music !

  30. alright well… #1) Coles was better and #2) I bet he watched Kanyes Can’t Tell Me Nothing and said “oh shit imma do that”

  31. HAHAHAHA @ “THE RECORD J.COLE MADE BETTER W/ HIS DEMO.”

    @jaeboogz

  32. If anybody believes that jayz wrote these lyrics they are a moron. Seriously you people are gullible. Why do morons…I mean people beleive stupid ass rumors?

smh really said this on November 30th, 2010 at 1:31 am

^ u idiot Puff and alex de kid confirmed this on twitter lol

shows how much u kno about shit….do u even kno what GHOST WRITING is

  33. Everytime I hear this song, I think about how much better Cole’s ghostwritten version was…and wonder who wanted to embarrass Puff enough to leak the demo.

“I wonder if Andre Harrell knew how great that I would be when he fired me?”

  34. Damm, this track is horrible! Video Worst! Should have cleared the lane for Cole! Or diddy should have cut him a check for his verse’s! Instead he bought Ross so more cheeseburgers

  35. lol ^^^ kanye wasnt the first person to have a video in the desert all minimaslist lol
    #stans

  36. Why does Diddy have the same haircut/look exactly like them Dirty Money birds. lol. I know I’m not trippin… On some real shit though, I like the song, even though I wish it was J. Cole’s song and that he released it. But hey, that’s the music business for ya.

  37. With all that being said though, song is still inspirational. Even though the lyrics is as basic as ABC, the fact that the song is really personal makes it better. The visuals go w/ the lyrics nicely and he touches on some personal ish, so even though I lowkey hate this paper gangster, I gotta give him props on his music of late and even though them Dirty Money birds is getting exploited like a muhfugga.

  38. ROFL @pecola…and man jermaine is still getting some writing credits…because puff used the “back where i belong” part…so it’s all good
