Charles Hamilton – Back to the Future, Back to the Haze (Mixtape)

Man, I don’t even know what to say about this dude anymore. I enjoy some of his music but he’s just too fucking weird for my liking. Just read the email that came with the new project (which I’ve included after the jump).

This is a personal email from Charles Hamilton, which already sounds like it’s not a personal email. But it is. Listen. A few of you might not like my “antics”, but projects/mixtapes/albums like this is why I am the way I am. Meet Corpy, aka Corporate, aka Haley Mathers. We are all aware of supernatural abilities, and the transformation people can pull off when standing either in the mirror or in the dark. Such paranormal biologic occurances are not uncommon in showbusiness, but with her father being hailed as God, her back story is as intense as the many characters she’s played in Life: In Cinema.

Not even 18, she’s sold well over 32 million copies under the moniker 50 Cent. Her satirical approach to introspective commentary mirrors the political rampage of MF Doom, and once you figure out who she is (as far as her being 50), you almost instantly cry. Yes, she has been exploited by Marshall, and songs like “Many Men” and “High All The Time” are GRIM… and I mean GRIM visualizations of her everyday life as Slim Shady’s daughter.

I had a very difficult time accepting Mathers Family Matters, considering I saw Corpy as my high school houligan friend, and for almost 12 years, saw Eminem as a hero (though finding flaws in his insurmountable dominance). And when looking back from my perspective now, it almost seems like a fairy tale in sci-fi world. Haley’s Comet is landing, and here I am with “open arms and open eyes”, waiting to catch her.

There are more sides to her story than being a “flowing white girl”, even though she kicked ass as Invincible (little known femcee from Detroit). She is also my exotic/elusive significant other, Simone Porter. We go at it almost as her mother and father do (excluding double entendres, to protect her privacy), and she is a hothead.

As far as being an MC in the role of Corpy, her off beat flow BETTER raise your eyebrows, as you all have made her and her conglomerate very wealthy. Her “flow”, her “shows” brought “her” the dough… her father brought her… press play and understand.

Again, to deny supernatural activities means to deny one’s on existence, so keep an open mind, and make sure… (takes off blazer)… make sure you truly open your heart to Haley. I love her, as we all do.

o_O!? I’m sure there will be a few of you that try to defend the madness above, but c’mon… this is just being different for the sake of being different. Nothing more.

  1. Haha. That e-mail. Craaaaazy

  2. what the hell was that nonsense? this kid is retarded.

  3. this guy played a little too much sonic….

  4. 10 mixtapes this year?

  5. lol. what is this?

  6. I was one of Charles Hamilton’s biggest fans for a long time, and probably one of his only fan all the way out in Australia, and I was super excited when he made his return with Normalcy and wasn’t overloading us with music.

But then he started to overload us with more music in a shorter amount of time before, after starting the blog again, ruining the demand for his album My Heart (which I still hope comes out at some point and CH realises his potential to some degree).

And I 100% agree he is being weird purely for the sake of being weird, and that’s just weird and disillusioning any of his other fans that aren’t weird e.g. that Chrisdotrivera kid, is real weird.

  7. i think he’s talking about interscope, but thats one crazy nigga

  8. much more than 10 ^^

  9. uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh……………what???

  10. Charles Hamilton is the epitome of a failure. He even fails at being the smart nerd rap fan’s hero that he is hailed to be. You are wack Charles Hamilton.

  11. 50 cent..grodt good album…top10 deff

  12. @HeyThere I think I he’s released like 20 mixtapes this year..alone.

  13. CHARLES HAMILTON WTF!?…….C’MON SON!!!!!!!!!

  14. ACTUALLY IT’S BEEN 2O MIXTAPES THIS ONE BEING THE 21ST. HE COULD BE A GREAT GHOSTWRITER. IF I PRAYED I’D PRAY FOR CH. BUT SINCE I DON’T, I WON’T.

  15. charles does it cause he loves it
AND IF YOU DNT LIKE IT
    SIMPLY IGNORE
    not everyone is gonna understand
shit i sure as hell dnt right now but im sure ill understand it later lol

  16. charles does it cause he loves it
AND IF YOU DNT LIKE IT
    SIMPLY IGNORE
    not everyone is gonna understand
shit i sure as hell dnt right now but im sure ill understand it later lol

  17. I’ve still been downloading his mixtape just in case there is one track that is as good as “SegaMusic” or “Brooklyn Girls” or “Most Likely To Succeed.”

  18. paco lol
ch needs to retire n just get that ghostwriting money seriously.

is this tape any good? he has released soooo many tapes i cant keep up i dl isnt this akward n still listen to it but theres like 15 more i dont ahve the time to listen to em all lol but dude does work realllllly hard

  19. Honesty this guy knows his music, i remember first seeing him on world star with his CRAZY 10 minute freestyles, i have a couple mixtapes and from what i heard he has great sampling and production skills, although putting out 150 songs a year lowers the quality of his music. and yes he being weird purely for the sake of being weird. But imma still listen to the tape and hope it is good.

  20. this type of shit was almost acceptable when his music was more consistent… i really wish he’d just get back to doing good music. this isnt even being weird, its a weak attempt to sound like a masonic genius. ehh at least he flooded the world with enough music to hold us over until he gets his shit together, which i hope happens soon as the guy is talented

  21. THAT IS NOT CHARLES HAMILTON!! I repeat CHARLES HAMILTON DID NOT SEND THAT EMAIL that is all Corpy’s doing, he’s using Charles to self promote his shitty ass music while maknig CH look like the bad guy

  22. This is good. Charles got back to his 08 Hype flow which is a goood thing but that corpy guy’s voice annoys me.

overall this tape actually good i think yall should giv it a chance, took a while for me get used to that other niggas voice and all but it gets a 8/10 with me

and im not a big fan of charles anymore if he can keep rhyming like he did in this i might be a fan again loool

  23. yo this guy is just an attention whore. he is a fucking freak too. this nugga lied about having cancer to sell records. hes scum.

  24. That nigga is crazy

  25. Niiiice

  26. holy shit…wtf did i just read???!!??

  27. LMAO at everyone getting uncomfortable cause of that weird letter. Is that all he has to do to make you feel a certain way? The letter is laughable lore, he’s just doing it cause that’s who he is, it’s stream of consciousness. See Reggie Watts. It’s intentional randomness.

How about letting people know that this shit is dopeeee. I’m only on the second song and this shit is ill.

    Charles is killing it.

P.S. He didn’t say he literally had cancer, and he said he had Chaids not AIDS. It was in his personal blog journal not a press release.

  28. Its Corporate, 1. I am Not Haley Mathers, 2. Charles is fucking crazy, if you didnt know that your crazy, 3. Download it and shut the fuck up, you act like its feature Waca Floca, 4. I dont give a fuck, lmaoo.

  29. I guess the email was too witty for his own good; he was basically saying that 50 was Em’s little girl, and how 50 whores himself out to any and everyone – e.g., that shit he did with Soulja Boy. I don’t really fucks with Charles, but I get where he was going with the email.

  30. How many records does charles sell and promte sales??? NONE …. He does it all for us FANS

  31. Ayoo change the title To Corporate -Back to the future, back to the haze cause this WACK ass nigga Corpy is the one all over this tape not charles. i wouldnt be surprised if he just swacked a bunch of a charles verses when he was working, using his studio back awhile ago. Since theyve been having issues recently.

  32. nicce.

  33. dont think CH is the type to try and act different for the sake of being different.
i don’t think he really gives a fuck if you think he’s different/not.
he’s fucked up in the head for real. but he’s a genius as well.
and he’d lyrically slay your favorite rapper in a freestyle battle.
    hate it or love it.

  34. Umm, is everyone just choosing to forget that this guy recently told everyone he had CANCER? Sorry but I’ve known many who have passed from cancer and that’s something you don’t play around with. This guy and his antics have worn thin with me, to the point where I don’t even give his music a listen. This nigga needs help, ASAP!

  35. And doubleo, I don’t get that “he’s a genius” bullshit. Just because you can rap off the top well and are weird doesn’t constitute one as a genius. It isn’t like he makes timeless music or says anything groundbreaking.

  36. And doubleo, I don’t get that “he’s a genius” bullshit. Just because you can rap off the top well and are weird doesn’t constitute one as a genius. It isn’t like he makes timeless music or says anything groundbreaking.

  37. ^stfu

He didn’t say he had cancer. 2BZ said he did. Stop misconstruing CH’s shit.

  38. i usto be a charles hamilton fan to but he has been doing some crazy shit lately. the pink lavalamp is one of my favorite projects of all time!!. all this crazy shit hes been doing makes me wonder what goes inside this dudes mind.

  39. I owe Charles Hamilton more thanks than any sucka that ever got me to buy a CD.

    Thanks

  40. Used to be a massive Charles Hamilton fan, and now I don’t even bother downloading his new shit. Everything after Well Isn’t This Awkward was well below par, and This Perfect Life was the last listenable thing he put out. Over saturation is a massive problem of his, can’t believe Skee or someone at Interscope didn’t talk to CH about it.

The whole cancer fuckery, plus all the other shit (not including the whole J Dilla thing, which I think was blown waaaay outta proportion) has made it impossible to defend Charles. He was seriously on his way to being the next Kanye, he’s killed his own career before it even started. Sad really, considering how talented he is. I’ll still bump Intervention, It’s Charles Hamilton and The Pink Lavalamp from time to time. But this shit gets a pass from me.

  41. wtf?!

  42. This is a dope. Lots of things are addressed here and the quality is amazing considering this tape was recorded in a closet!! Keep em coming~

  43. This is dope* I meant. xP

  44. cORPOARATE SUCKS BUT CHARLES IS 100

  45. PJS Feel sorry for you man.

This mixtape is dope and Normalcy was crazy good.

  46. i want to see what wiz would do with that no power in the past beat

  47. Whats wrong with TRYING to be different. I’d rather be different than the average Boom Bap we listen to over and over and over.

  48. THIS DUDES A STRAIGHT UP CLOWN AND HE SUCKS LOL

HE DID THAT WHOLE SERIOUS JONES SKIT JSUT FOR MORE MIXTAPE DOWNLOADS

    FUCKIN LOSER

  49. Ace hit the nail on the head with his first comment. He hasn’t put out anything good quality since Normalcy. I really wish he’d let go of all the extra bull shit and just make good music (i.e. pink lavalamp, well isn’t this awkward, shit the whole hamiltization process). My dude is wasting his talent

  50. sometimes it feels like he’s bein’ weird just for the sake of being weird..

  51. Lmaooo ya’ll comments are crazy, ya’ll really dont like a nigga, lmaoooo lmaooo, keep the hate or what ever coming, shit is inspirational.

  52. ‘Be with Kat’ = Song of the year.

  53. Yo can somebody help me out? I’m tryna check out some more CH music, all i have really is Brooklyn Girls and some other random shit. What are his good mixtapes and songs that are the dopest and the best place to start?

  54. @plasticman Get “The Pink Lavalamp” then “My Brain is Alive”

  55. @plasticman Get “The Pink Lavalamp” then “My Brain is Alive”

  56. on the real though…
love charles. but this mixtape is lame.
the corporate dude is wack unfortunately. :/

  57. this tape is dope as far as the beats and charles go…i dont dig the corporate guy at all really and if this had been a real solo CH project it woulda been better…most of Charles verses on here are dope…email is definitely weird tho lol

  58. It’s so sad to see this dude lose the plot like this!

“Damn Charley, in high school you were the man Charley, what the fuck happened to you?”

  59. i tried to defend him….i tried….i cant defend this….smh his serius jones diss was really dope though.

  60. This tape is fire i havnt bumped CH like this since Normalcy/Binge3. He may not have had as much verses as Corporate but daaamn it sounds like he actually trying for once EVERYBODY LISTEN TO TRACK 3 IF YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT I MEAN!!!

and you fuckers that say charles is tryna get downloads or records sales need to do your research, this nigga has always been goofy as shit but can make music when he’s ready

  61. Timeless/Classic Charles Hamilton songs:
    1. Conversations With God
    2. Sat(t)ellite
    3. Writing in the Sky
    4. Windows Media Player (production is crazy on this)
    5. Neverland

Dude makes some of the best love songs I’ve heard in a long time in hip hop..another favorite is Pure Imagination..but check out Conversations With God if u don’t think that’s dope then smack yourself immediately

  62. Fuck y’all hatin ass niggaz. Charles Hamilton will embarrass ur fav rapper in a battle and his production is out of this world so fuck y’all lame niggaz

  63. Btw something tells me Charles isn’t responsible for this mixtape

  64. Charles Hamilton sucks.

*goes back to listening to Red Flame*

  65. i know knew i’d found jonnie batty boi cage on here you’re gonna die on 2dopeboyz u lame RIP

  66. charles hamilton is dope but the dude keeps getting weirder and weirder this tape had some tight beats yeah ch is starting to get way too weird for me but i still bump his music dude has droped a lot of good music

  67. Actually And Won he said it in a song as well, so stfu thanks. Plus you said it isn’t T.I’s fault he’s in jail, so really your opinion means nothing at this point.

  68. charles killed anyone that gets rid of the corportae verses and makes a new tape with a downlod like is GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  69. I can’t tell if this is all metaphorical, if it’s a diss towards eminem, or towards his daughter, or to 50 Cent, or dissing coporate business.

Used to love his shit. Still love some of it, his last good song was Neverland Ranch. But he just acts weird to stand out. It’s annoying he’s not being himself.

  71. This dudes getting ridiculous

  72. charles, i know you’re probably going to read this… so i’ll address to you. don’t start talking all this deep shit because we all know the deepest motherfuckers don’t have to speak on it… and speaking about metaphysics and other things universal, don’t speak like you’re an expert on the topic and like you know what the fuck you’re talking about because you really don’t. those that know and practice those “arts” don’t spend 1/20th the amount of time you blab about it… fucking pseudo intellectual. your concepts are mundane.

  73. Corporate is the future of this rap shit.

  74. is the tape good or not?

  75. So is this tape good? I’ve been a little weary about Chuck’s tapes after Pink Lavalamp. That e-mail doesn’t help in any sort of way as well…

  76. he definetly gets ppls backs up lol

Obviously you do since you took the time to respond to him.

  78. dudes a fuckin story teller. haha. leave em alone. let em live in 20hamil10 haha. and let him make a good record every 200. who fuckin cares?

  79. lol @ Shake givin Charles bad fame.. . a lot of lol

  80. Fuck cares if his wierd, it would only give the music a good touch. But sadly i think charles overfeed the market, you dont even gets to get hyped or even in need of new music before a new tapes out. While the mixtapes coming a high pace, tha quality also get lowered. So im not going to download, charles needs to get back on track before i jump the train again.

  81. charles needs a publicist and a manager that would just do all this shit for him. he can make good music but he needs someone to do his promotion and handle his image, someone to tell him which songs sound good or not. if charles just tried to make two mixtapes a year instead of 50 billion, he would have something decent because it would be better produced and better songs.

  82. @Fred Da Crook, Charles has cancer metaphorically you dumb bitch. And TI is in prison because of the racism and predjudice of the United States.

    FUCK YOU.

  83. ????
    shout to storm watkins!

  84. What tha fuck?!! It’s just a bunch of jiberish!!

  85. MIXTAPE IS HOT SHUT UP

  86. And Won, after your last statement it’s apparent I don’t need to say anything more to ether you. You did it for me, thanks faggot.

Since when did a response mean you cared about somebody? All it is is a response, took no effort or energy to type up my comment…now going out of your way to type up a comment about somebody that never said anything to u or even thought about u in the 1st place means u care about them..that’s something u and @Sade have in common (my response had nothing to do with u)….smh that’s the last internet argument I’ll ever participate in

  94. ok question motherfuckers whats the tape sound-like is it dope????idg2fukz about the email…fuck his personal life i jus wanna hear music.

  95. overall, i am not sure to put this on my ipod. its not a typical random ass charles sounding mixtape. it sounds decent but the email and the whole premise behind the mixtape makes it really random ass anyway

    Two things..

First, why is charles using old beats on this mixtape. I remember a beat that was for a different song on a different tape. There are couple tracks on here where that has the same sample as an old charles hamilton song, but remade.

Second, I know charles voice distinctly but am i the only one who is mistaken Corporate verses for being Charles Hamilton’s. they sound sometimes bit familiar

    …..

p.s thanks @jonnie cage for the co-sign. i cosign ur stuff too about interent arguments

  96. ^Detroit89

Definitely doesn’t feel like your typical CH project (not sure it’s supposed to), and I see what you mean with the overall sound of their voices. This is just a very strange project to begin with I cosign what you mean with that instrumental(Pleasant Overthinking) from his ‘My Brain Is Alive’ project (CH flips the same sample diff ways all the time though) … Weird…

Don’t know CH or his people so I have no say on his personal health *shrugs* this tape feels off though.

  97. Last Charles Hamilton post I will read. Post more Illecism.
    Post more Fly High.
    WeAreFlyHigh(.)Com

  98. I’m Co-Signing Ace, even though I’m from Minnesota.

  99. Haley is supposed to symbolize problems expressed in song form. His problems was Simone so he called her Haley, Eminem always talked about Haley, as well as his problems & that made him rich

  100. THIS DUDE STILL ALIVE???

  101. Something tells me this is neither giberish nor is it ch simply seeking attention..

When you look at ch what you have to realize is that this dude is about taking the hip hop story telling tradition and steering it in a new direction. What you have here in the mixtape (email included) is a person creating a fictional story using non fictional characters.

What i believe hes trying to do is to create an audio event which behaves like a movie. You hear alot people like kanye talking about making beats which are big and movie sounding but whats different with ch is that he recognizes there are more to movies than simply “big” productions. The email is the back story required to enter the fictitous world of corpy and ch. The email is disconnected from reality not because the dude is crazy but because its the opening to a story completly made up. Its kind of like reading the back of a sci fi dvd or book. While the actual tape is the dvd itself.

He’s simply setting the story giving characters liek em and 50 rolls which they may or may not hold in realife but thats okay because like ANY fictional writer, it doesnt matter if what they say is real because its Fiction. What matters most is whats going on inthe world he created.

You have to approach ch projects as though they are made up because even if they are based on reality.. shit like this is made up… What is interesting however about ch’s work is how he uses the fabricated to talk about real issues hes facing in his life. If ch said he had cancer, its because everything he does ends up killing his career. Even the statement, “i have cancer” which, if not true, is fiction is a cancer to his career and itself is very smart. ch’s problem with fans of hip hop is that they are used to being expected to trust the artist as being a mirror reflecting the truth….

but as ch said in his email….. the hip hop mirror which so many rappers claim to be using to reflect their life on the world… is capable of the supernatural abilities of transformation…. hip hop is filled with dudes pretending to be things they are not… fucking lookat rick ross…

  102. ^this

Rappers have been rapping total fiction for years, now Charles is choosing to do it but with the addition of creativity.

    Applaud.

  103. www DOT PLANETGWAP DOT com
    God Bless Hip Hip

  104. whoever that other nigga is on this mixtape is wack as fucccccccccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

  105. Cosign Calvin Brett.

  106. Dear Charles Hamilton,

    Go away.

    Yours Truly,

    George Costanza

  107. I cant believe this. Take “As it is” for example. Dope beat, everybody spitting.. this nigga Corporate come on the beat all off beat flowing all happy like will smith.. fuck out of here with this wack shit b..

  108. hahaha jonnie u lame & ugly as shit your a ugly ass nigger boy

  109. thts an amazing analogy calvin brett.
i didnt see it like tht bu hes taking art to another level.

  110. go to where is charles hamilton there is a link with just Charles no Corportate its 100

  111. Fuck what ya heard some of this tape is really dope. His production game is so on point. Y’all crazy if you don’t think he learend from Dilla. His chops can be so on point plus the variations from low fi to high fi quality is dilla-esque.

  112. I listened and I’m still gonna go with this:

“How about the ‘starchasers’ explain (and this means give examples of his lyrical ability and/or why the poor sound quality is worth listening to) instead of just saying the same old canned phrases like “you’re just not LISTENING to his lyrics” or “low quality is just his sound.” because it sounds to me like his die-hard fans just want to sit on their high horse, pretending they’re understanding what he’s talking about and doing, when he’s really not being coherent at all.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a hater, but before his hiatus I ranked him at least Top 3 in the ‘Most Original Hip Hop Artist’ category. He wasn’t rapping about the money, clothes and hoes that’s so prevalent in the mainstream, but he also wasn’t constantly dissing the mainstream, talking constantly about being in the hood and political issues which seemed just as prevalent in the underground scene. He rapped about mental and personal issues and thought that goes way beyond what most people would define as ‘conscious rap’ and that, along with his undeniable work ethic and quirkiness, was what drew me to him in the first place, and I’m sure it’s the same situation for a lot of other people who don’t seem to blindly support everything he does and says.

There’s a lot that I don’t feel in regards to his ‘new’ approach and sound. First off, the lyrics themselves; I’ve listened to the vast majority of the tracks since the hiatus, and nothing seems to be sticking, at least not with me. It could be because he’s talking gibberish, or it could be because I can no longer relate, both things I consider to be factors. It could also be going over my head, but I’m a pretty sharp guy, and Lupe is my favourite rapper, so it’s not as if I don’t know my way around the English language. There’s so much of his earlier stuff where what he talks about is easy to follow, but still satisfies my appetite for lyricism: “Straight crack, got rockers boppin’/great rap, got hip-hoppers moshin’, knowledge droppin’/like your brains gettin spashed on the curb, I rap for the ‘burbs and them cats flippin’ birds.” and “Burger King birthdays as a youngin’/Back when I wasn’t sure that I could be somethin’.” were just some of the lyrics that really resonated with me when I heard them. With the newer stuff, I can’t think of any quotables or standout tracks, except for ‘Order My Steps’, ‘There’s Nothing Like It’, ‘Some first single type ****’ and the 3rd verse of ‘Speak No Louder’ (since the first 2 were old, to my knowledge).
Then there’s the sound/inspiration. Again, this is something I’ve found increasingly harder to grasp over time; Well Isn’t This Awkward is my favourite concept mixtape to date and My Brain Is Alive is my favourite mixtape, period. I loved the little audio clips at the end of most/all the tracks in Intervention and the very end of ‘Desperate Tears of Certainty’ really wrapped everything up almost perfectly. Compate with M/A/T/E…WHY are mirrors the enemy? What effect (if any) would not looking at them throughout the recording process have on your sound? Then there’s the sound itself. Yes, what Charles has done recently with his vocals and instrumentals is absolutely original, but just because something is ‘original’ and ‘different’ it doesn’t means that it is GOOD. Something which is unoriginal is normally that way because the approach has worked in the past, or has been tried and tested. Now let’s look at Starchaser Radio, almost any way you look at it, lowering the vocal quality to the level that he did there is a bad move, ESPECIALLY in a genre that is as lyrically focused as rap (or as he’d call it, Nu-Hop, just to further clarify that I’m not just an ‘ignorant hater’). Why make it harder for people that are interested in what you have to say to hear what you’re saying? This is probably where someone would say “But The_Anon! You have to listen to it in headphones, the way Charles intended!” True, it sounds better in headphones, but so does most other music, and it still sounds pretty bad in my opinion, most stuff on stereo has more clarity than that. I can’t understand the thinking behind making something awful to listen to on stereo and just passable to listen to on headphones when it’s possible to make something sound great on both.
Then it’s the release of the mixtapes themselves; it’s random to anyone that doesn’t have his blog as their homepage, and is probably random to some of those too. I found it enjoyable, if a little bit fast during the Hamiltonization process, and even after that, because although he didn’t announce their release they’d come out at a reliable pace, lots of sites also responded and as a result it was easier for me to get a hold of and know what it’s about/wherever people liked it or not. The cover art was often good too, and that along with the regular releases and the tracks themselves gave me the impression that even though he released tracks at an blistering pace compared to others, he cared about his work, not just about the lyrics, but the whole package. That doesn’t seem to be the case anymore, but there was a bit of structure when he was regularly releasing tracks before the single.

I think what I’ve said above outlines why a lot of people and sites have stopped checking for him and his projects, which is a shame because lots thought him along with other capable of bringing a new sort of subject matter to the mainstream with his lyrical ability, though B.o.B isn’t doing too bad for himself in that regard.

If Charles is doing music just for his sake, then more power to him, I can really respect that he’s doing what he wants to do instead of feeling pressured into going for commercial success, but if he wants to spread his message, gain listeners and “change the way consumers buy music” like he said in one track, then he really has to work to achieve that; instead of working hard as he always has done, he needs to work smart too.

And since someone will no doubt ask, writing something this long is nothing to me and I’m pretty bored, it’s pretty ironic that the type of people that would diss me for writing something this length would fancy themselves as a successful rapper.”

I wouldn’t stop him from doing what he wants artistically, but that doesn’t mean I or anyone else has to appreciate the product he puts out as a result.

  113. one word…cocaine

I have a very disjointed CH collection and, not only do I want to be able to explore the entire CH catelouge, I love to have entire collections of artists music. call me a music nerd, i guess? hah

  127. As far as I’m concerned Charles Hamilton has one song, it’s “Brooklyn Girls” and it’s kinda cool… all this other shit is just unnecessary.

  128. what is he talking about?

  129. i see most of the production is done by Sha-Leik he has some heat on that Show Tufli mixtape

  130. where da fuck does doom come in at? charles leave the heroin alone ofwgkta

    ^^^^^^^^^^^
    Co-Sign except I liked “Normalcy’” &”Binge 3′” was ok

  132. GO TO WHEREISCHARLESHAMILTON(dot)COM to Find ALL of Charles songs. The Whole Discography.

Wikipedia has a complete list too.

  133. Charles Hsmilton let me introduce you to WACK. You guys have so much in common. If you don’t watch yourself you guys will end up insuperable.

  134. ^not a ch fan but man you’re a joke

  135. i am so upset right now

  136. ‘As far as I’m concerned Charles Hamilton has one song, it’s “Brooklyn Girls” and it’s kinda cool… all this other shit is just unnecessary.’

    ^This guy get its.

If you only make music for people who value overcomplexity and esoteric premises for the sake of being different you are a lame or a hipster (which is worse?). Charles needs to hold onto all this material, so when he eventually OD’s his estate can make some money.

  137. The Letter is from the future – Haily has grown up to be the most prolific lyricist of her generation – Charles and her have eloped in madness , but 50 is hired as a hench man to make sure the affair does not continue because the relationship is effecting sales – It’s a modern day romeo an juliet story.

Personally Interscope is built on the blood of to many people – every one on that label has made a sacrifice and jimmy is the Devils advocate ! Just look how screwed up all the artists really are – did’nt any of you read Buck Shot’s article on that label ?

  138. i loved Normalcy, though the fuckery was over with………too bad.

  139. thought*

  140. Charles freestyled all his parts and the Corporate fucking sucks. Listened to the whole thing and Charles didn’t even try. I wouldn’t have either if I had to rap with Corporate.

  141. This mixtape is great. “Have a lil faith” could be a classic ch song.

  142. Corporate almost made this impossible to listen to, yet Charles seemed to be going off the dome for every song and was killing it. The beats were on point, would’ve been great without corpy..

  143. lol..he pokes fun at so many current rappers thru corporate..ch is stupid for this.

  144. and i mean actually stupid

  145. So the future is the best song ever

  146. Can Someone please post a link for the version with no coporate? I can’t find it I checked whereischarleshamilton and all the web sites. Thanks

  147. lmfao @ charles having metaphoric cancer

I wont be downloading this mixtape, not because of his weirdness but because im sick of wading through 200 shitty CH tracks to find 1 worth keeping.

  148. shit is better without corpy just deleted this verison and upped the other verison onto my ipod

  149. What the fuck.
